Your flight will now depart at 1800H from LAX. We apologize for the delay. You may contact us on WhatsApp through the link or call +97440226901 / email: nds@qatarairways.com.qa Flight was scheduled to leave 2:55pm for Doha. But took off at 6pm. Essentially flight for some reason is diverted to London instead of Doha. (Technical stop they say). How could it be? Technical stop after almost 11 hours of flying?? Why don't they fix the technical issue in LA. Here is what I think is happening. The Doha flight goes through western part of iran north to south to Doha. Most likely there is now a reroute to Doha which is prompting Qatar Airways to stop in London and get fuel so that it can continue on over a longer reroute. My 2 cents.
