Comments: Well said!
Comments: KAmkAr that dozdi is nothing compared to all these gharatgaris. As we always said people in charge in iran are not politicians or diplomats. They are just bunch of gharatgar who will continue these gharatgaris to the last drop. And then yeh mosht goosfande koskhol think these guys are legit to negotiate with. .
Comments: wow... that kurdish song robbery is something.
Comments: UN Security Council adopts call for Gaza ceasefire, hostage release as US abstainsUS argues resolution is non-binding 'so there's no impact on Israel's ability to continue to go after Hamas'; indicates inclusion of call to free hostages led it to forgo vetoIsrael is not expected to abide by the resolution’s call for an immediate ceasefire and Hamas is not expected to follow the demand for an immediate and unconditional release of the 134 hostages, though only the former is a party to the UN charter and failure to abide by its resolutions could lead to calls for sanctions. But with the US stressing that the resolution is not binding, it is highly unlikely that Washington would allow the council to sanction Israel for failing to abide by the measure.
Comments: You're right on with your comments on Iran and Turkey. I was so impressed that I will make more trips there in summer. I love the LahMajun.
Comments: Cyruss, Sadly dozdi has become so rampant in Iran. This was Musical theft but With poverty spreading among big portion of the population and the shrinking of middle class, theft and crime is skyrocketing in Iran.
Comments: Kamkar, 20 some years ago I travelled to Iran after 22 years. Prior to that I would meet my family in Tűrkiye. My impression from that trip was Iran was 15-20 years behind Türkiye, while TÜrkiye itself was a good 20 years behind Europe. In my last trip , I corrected my assessment for Iran to be light years behind Türkiye.
Comments: Kamkar, glad you posted about the theft! It has been a common practice among our “ artists “ to steal lesser known folk music of minorities, persianize them and take credit for their “ creation”
Comments: I think I'm starting to like Trump and might even come out of closet and vote for the first time.

Comments: We had these affinity programs at work, celebrating Norouz and many other festivities like Holi of Hindus and all. Last Thursday we celebrated norouz at 3 pm at work. We had sweets tea and many types of Norouz snack. The afghani and some Arab contingents and some Americans were questioning “wait a minute, isn’t it Ramadan? Don’t you have to be fasting?” The Iranian scientist tried to explain that Norouz is pre Islam belongs to more than 3000 years and we the Iranians identify ourselves as Iranians first. So the conclusion was because Norouz is an ancient thing it has priorities over Islam. Anyways it was interesting. Even Afghanis don’t value their Iran history the way we do. . The non Arab country which has started some initiatives in that regard is Tajikistan. They recently came up with an initiative that does not allow families name their children Arab or Russian names.

Comments: Cyruss, That clip disgusts me. Such a shame that our hamvatans have to travel to Turkey to breathe freely. There were thousands of Europeans wearing shorts walking around and drinking beer in the bars while those who fast were minding their own business.

Comments: Shahriar e Iran, Ali Daei is in Los Angeles.
Comments: As I mentioned before, I have been in Hormuz island. I am not into Kish and Gheshm, but the virgin beautiful Hormuz is something else. I am surprised that there is not much development for tourism. And the type of people who go to Kish are very different than those who go to Hormuz. It is a spiritual island and those who enjoy nature go there. Hardly any restaurants. And happy people. .
Comments: Indeed KAmkAr. And Iran vs USA I don't think there is no Iranian born who would do otherwise. . Problem is when USA is playing Tunisia😊.

Comments: Back on the adopted country soil. I've said this before. I criticize this country probably more than most of you here but It's greatest feeling when you get to the passport control, your heart is not beating harder from the fear. It's even stranger that I still love my country of birth more. If Iran and the US play a match of any sport, I know which one I'd be cheering for! May God bless both. A little more blessings for Iran whom needs it more. |
