Comments: But he wasn’t among 17-18 players you named :) Throughout years I have seen many debates on best 11 or best ever or best pre revolution, first time I see any one picking behzadi as best. Don’t take me wrong, he was good , but there were many good at his caliber in his era. Likes of talebi,eftekhari , etc non as complete as Ghelich capable of playing 10 positions.

Excluding players of 1980-1996, I would just select two at each line, one pre revolution and one post Goalie: Hejazi/ Abed Back line: Kia/ kargarjam Mid field: Karim Bagheri/ Ghelich Forward: Ali Daei/ Roshan And best ever: Ghelich

Comments: Farzad, all I have heard is that about 4 top tier clubs after him, city the most serious of them,but parents have been reluctant to see their 14 year old part and play in Europe at such a tender age.
Comments: I missed the whole 1980's so I am sure there was a lot of players like Ghayeghran, Mamadkhani, Derakhshan, Zarincheh etc should be considered 4-4-2 Abedzadeh Mahdavikia-Kashani-Rahman Rezaie-Kargarjam Parvin-Bagheri-Ghelichkhani-Jabari Roshan-Daie Pains me to leave out players like Hejazi, Ashtiani, Talebi, Kalani, Iranpak, Gholam Mazloumi and few more out. I also think the best Iranian player ever was Karim Bagheri
