Comments: Conspiracy theorists don’t mention that there are two sides of story: به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، قضاوت دیدار سپاهان ایران و الهلال عربستان که روز پنج‌شنبه ۲۶ بهمن ماه ساعت ۱۹:۳۰ در ورزشگاه نقش‌جهان اصفهان برگزار می‌شود بر عهده «احمد العلی» از کویت خواهد بود. «عبدالهادی الانزی»، «احمد عباس» و «عمار اشکنانی» از کویت نیز او را در امر قضاوت یاری خواهند کرد و عبداله جمالی از کویت داور VAR است. این داور در جام ملت‌های آسیا، قضاوت دیدار تیم‌های ملی فوتبال ایران و قطر در مرحله نیمه نهایی را برعهده داشت. پیش از دیدار نیمه نهایی جام ملت‌های آسیا، امیر قلعه نویی و سعید عزت اللهی در کنفرانس خبری نسبت به انتخاب یک داور عرب زبان برای دیدار ایران برابر یک تیم عربی را زیر سوال برده بودند. همین مساله موجب شد انتقادات و فشار زیادی از سوی افکار عمومی به این داور کویتی وارد شود و اکنون با انتخاب برای دیدار سپاهان و الهلال، رسانه‌های عربستانی نسبت به انتخاب او انتقاد کردند. یک خبرنگار عربستانی در خصوص انتخاب او نوشت: مضحک است. این داور فشار زیادی در دیدار ایران و قطر متحمل شد و حالا شما او را به عنوان داور یک تیم ایرانی انتخاب کردند. او با فشار زیادی مواجه است و این ممکن است روی مسابقه تأثیر بگذارد. یک خبرنگار دیگر نوشت: احمد العلی در دیدار ایران و قطر اشتباهات بزرگی مرتکب شد. او یک پنالتی خیالی به نفع ایران گرفت و در اخراج مدافع این تیم تردید کرد تا وی ای ار در این خصوص مداخله کند. یک خبرنگار دیگر هم اینگونه واکنش نشان داد: آیا بجز این داور، داور دیگری در کنفدراسیون فوتبال آسیا وجود ندارد؟

With Sepahan youngsters , they getting the best possible coaching in Iran . But they also need to experience the real professional world.

With Omid Ebrahimi retiring and hopefully haj safi, they are the most logical replacements. Majid Hossein is the youngest of our core defenders, still good for the next WC and following AFC. Comments: Winning the cup or events by the host nation have always been subject to controversy. Shit happens and I don’t doubt it. The hosts millions time after time , so a little home field/ court advantage shouldn’t be surprising. But my issue is looking at this so one sided. Didn’t we do it before when we had the chance of hosting? So many stories of “ our hosting “ that didn’t go well with our competitors. 1968. Israelis felt cheated. Before that Burma was complaining about one sided officiating in favor of Iran 1976-Kuwait was unhappy about officiating In koshti many of our world level medals were questionable 1974 Asian games- Sepahbod hojat , then chief of Tarbiat badani, at the midst of Asian games, lobbied to chang the rules to count the number of medals in team sports by number of team members, hence our 2 golds in waterpolo and football became 35! And we finished ahead of China in the standings. For the first and last time! Yes, we have also been victims of seemingly unfair situations and calls. But it is my observation that not many make such a fuss about these situations except middle eastern, particularly Iranian and Iraqis. Sometime in 80s I was in Netherlands with a group of friends. We encountered a group of young Iranian men ended up having beer with them. The subject of football was naturally introduced and 78 WC. The Iranian guys were more vociferous and emotional in accusing Argentina of having cheated to the WC title. Valid subject. But the level of anger shocked the Dutch friends! They could care less. It was forgotten. To them , it was about moving forward

The other thing ref goes by is the angle the ball is moving after the incident. And the route the ball took could have only happened if Qatari player touched the ball. Anyways Faghani said he whistled in favor of iran. 1) Not calling the Pk (VAR had to interfere) and Faghani said even after VAR it was not a PK. 2) giving only yellow to Shoja (and VAR had to convince him to give Shoja a red). These are not signs of biased ref.

If he ever dove like that in his games, no one would have mentioned abed or beiro as the second best goalie of Iran ever :) Enjoy your game guys. Comments: Farzad, thanks for your VAR explanation. If I was the ref I would have called that a penalty and then let the VAR correct me. It was a close one. From the angle he was it would have been hard to tell who touched the ball first. Even the commentators initially thought it was a penalty.
