Because even if it was a foul it happened outside of the 18. When the foul is outside of the 18 they don't check it.

 

VAR is used 1- for penalty, 2- after each goal, 3- for red card or reverse a red card, 4- and goal line and offside through line technology (does not require ref to see it).

 

why don't they listen to Faghani, he explained all of that. It is on YouTube.  Actually Faghani claimed that the ref's calls were mostly in favor of iran. He actually criticized the ref for calling the incident a pk for TM after VAR review. He said that was not a hand. Anyways Faghani explained it. He is anti imperialist and at best eslAhtalab.  So he should be credible.
