During Bam earthquake I witnessed first hand what happens to the aid and who benefits from the help. Even foreign countries that were a major source of help during the disasters have realized that.

 

People that can, still help . But for most they need to trust the facilitators. Even among athletes I know there are non organized groups of the ones that are better off to give a hand for less fortunate.

 

Besides shah Gholam’s efforts here, I know Mojtaba and Ali Jabari have been active in this regard.

آقای نصیری یکی از بزرگ‌ترین اسطوره‌های ورزش ایران است که در رده‌های وزنی ۵۲ و ۵۶ کیلوگرم پنج مدال طلای قهرمانی جهان و سه مدال المپیک مکزیکوسیتی، مونیخ و مونترال و دو مدال طلای قهرمانی جهان را در کارنامه دارد.

 

 

نصیری گفته است: «هر روز از خدا آرزوی مرگ دارم. من با ۷۸ سال سن نباید دغدغه اجاره خانه و امرار معاش خودم و خانواده‌ام را داشته باشم. تنها محل درآمد و امیدی که برای بازنشستگی و حق و حقوقی که از این محل برای امرار معاش دریافت می‌کردم، پوچ شد و تمام. بیمه‌ای هم که اینجا داشتم، قطع شده و هیچ راه چاره‌ای هم ندارم.»

 

 

او گفته است که بعد از بازگشت از کانادا، به کمک شماری از مسئولان دوباره با عنوان بازگشت به کار در شرکت راه‌آهن استخدام شد اما چون از پس دوندگی‌های فراوان نتوانسته است سوابق ورزشی‌ خود را به عنوان سابقه کار منتقل کند، نتوانسته است، بازنشسته شود. او به دلیل کهولت سن و ناتوانی در محل کارش مجبور شده است که خود را بازخرید کند و به این دلیل بیمه او نیز قطع شده است.
