Mashti, thank you for the info about security clearance.  Did not know that about FDA. Called my friend who works for the FDA and he said the same. He actually said that he does not even go to Iran as they have problems with anyone working for the US Federal government. But if you work for state or county you are ok.  I guess anything Federal government you have to get security clearance. 
Boeing does not require security clearance for their commercial side.  

I also heard Iran becomes aware of the security clearance, as the US asks for

The question I have for you is, do people under SC have restrictions? Like can they visit a country that is adversary to USA, like Yemen or Iran for example? Can they go on social media and talk shit about US military for example? Do they monitor things?
