Comments: I saw Hamed in person at Stanford's Abbas Milani's program with good 600-700 people in attendance and people were almost begging him to become the leader of the movement. It was clear to me that he was struggling internally about whether he wants to be a leader for the movement. I think he eventually decided that he is not comfortable with this. Kagan explained the mission in his Washington Post column on the very day of the September 11 attacks, calling on Congress to declare war on all enemies. “It does not have to name a country,” he suggested. (It didn’t.) Within three months of that comment, Kagan clarified that the case for invading Iraq did not require “linking Saddam directly to the Sept. 11 attack.” No American foreign policy school has crashed from the heights of influence as hard and quickly as neoconservatism did in the mid-2000s, when American body bags and a failed occupation caused many voters to give Venus her due. But what is funny is that Arizona is the only state that requires proof of Citizenship among the 50 states. The only thing is that they require proof of citizenship for llocal and state ballots and not for Federal ballots. If you cannot prove citizenship, you will only be given a Federal ballot which includes presidential election.
