Comments: Shahin, Manook also explained the same thing. What is the nature of the conflict and it has nothing to do with Jeiwsh and muslims. Very interesting. e00dbd81-02bd-4c76-b5b0-1786939a3a13 on Vimeo
Comments: The Takht jamshid link above has a lot of history of Iranian teams in the 70's. جام تخت جمشید ملوان انزلی (takhtejamshidcup.com) ![]()
Comments: Thanks Shahin for that brief but informative analysis. It was all new to me. Makes sense.
Comments: I remember Niakani well. I have a big collection of Kayah Varzeshi from 70's with lots of Takhte Jamshid league game reports. I will look for his games.
Comments: Yes his Wiki page has updated as he passed away few days ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Niakani
Comments: Malavan Ajax e Gilan ![]()
Comments: May him RIP. The trio of Niakani-Jahani-Espandar was the best front line in Iran those days
Comments: I read in one of the sites that Ali Niakani, ex Malavan player and one of the three gunners of golden day Malian era in takht jamshid league has passed away. Was not aware of it. If true, ya dash gerami
Comments: Anyway I summarize for other people as what this analysis is right or wrong: Europe needs to replace the oil & gas that they used to get from Russia and Iran relatively cheap. This obviously will come from Saudis and Qatar. Right now this is coming mostly from tangeh hormoz and a long route through Suez Canal. This is costly and has potential a lot of interference from Iran & Russia through Hormoz & Yemen. The goal is to build pipeline through Saudi & Jordan to the north end of Red Sea. They also want to build another canal from there sort of parallel to Suez from the city of Eilot in Israel through Israel & Gaza all the way to Mediterranean. The background work has been done by Kushner when he made peace between Saudis, Israel & Qatar. Qatar has influence on Hamas leaders & Saudis on rest of the Arab countries in the region but the only problem are the crazy Hamas members within Gaza. This project cannot have any possibility of terror, rocket attacks and insurgency in the future. It needs rulers in Gaza that want to be on the side of the west. Hamas leaders will be well compensated and will have a role in the future. So the deal is made to have Hamas attack Israel and Israel goes in to kill off all the Hamas crazies and foot soldiers. This is why everybody thinks Iran & Russia were surprised with Hamas attack and still do not know how to react. China also do not mind this because isolated Russian and Iran means cheap oil & gas. Money to be made by everyone except Iran, Russia and perhaps Egypt
Comments: Yes Farzad, that is what this analysis is about
Comments: Shahin. I will listen. But more I am digging into this I find the events to be more than just Hamas - Israel conflict.

Comments: Finally finished Season 3 of Ted Lasso. On the surface it may come across as a stupid comedy. But it is so profound. Every episode is inspirational and full of depth. Each session is essentially a therapy session. Well made.
Comments: Shahin, jury is out on his ceiling. He has only been coached by visionary coaches for a season and half. I feel he has a lot to improve. Not ready to replace Azmoun or Taremi by him yet, just was comparing him to two seasons ago when he played for Persepolis.
Comments: Cyruss:
Assadi is a good or even great journeyman Persian Gulf league player. He has maximized his talent as a physical player in the league but an average player if he plays for TM. I think he started as a physical defensive midfielder which I think if he has gotten better at that, he would be going much further.
Comments: This Sepahan team is very hard to beat now. They have two of the hottest and perhaps best players of the league in Asadi and Rezaian, the phenomenal young talent ( next Ali karimi?) and a reliable goalie. Asadi keeps improving towards being a complete player. And credit should go to Paco, teraktor coach, who changed his game, explored his vision . As a d mid in persploise he wasn’t this player that we see today.

Comments: Yes Farzad, you've been talking about them neocons lately. I'd say he speaking in a more wide spectrum than only the neocons. It's more of a general rule.

Comments: LigaMx update, great game right now about to end. El Turko Mohamad has done well coaching the Pumas taking them to the fourth spot. This stadium is in the heart of UNAM and looks very similar to Aryamehr. It was built in 1968 for the Olympics. The next game starting in some minutes promises to be another great game. Tigres hosting the top of the table team America.

Comments: I meant arsha is under 18. He actually just finished 17th year of his life, entering 18
Comments: According to the wiki page below he just turned 17. FIFA required this tournament players to be born after Jan 1, 2006.
I read somewhere that the process is for teams to submit birth certificates and passports which they cross reference. They can further request more documentation from the federation. If necessary they can. do a series of medical examinations if required
Comments: And judging by appearances, I felt same way about Brazil as well
Comments: Unless my math is wrong, Arsha Shakouri is 18 years old. I don’t know how the age restriction works for this tournament. Perhaps they needed to be U17 when the qualifications started?
Comments: There is no one on this team that is 16 years old https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran_national_under-17_football_team
Comments: Yes, from the time when they were lined up for the IRI anthem, looking at those faces, I thought none of them were U17.
Comments: Faghat o Faghat Gol-eh 2vom! Never seen such an immaculate goalie's assist in my life! Bravo....
Comments: Cyruss: There is a wiki page for Hadi Shakouri
Comments: Shahin, the goalie, Shakouri, is son of former player Hadi Shakouri. Forgot if Shakouri the dad, played for Taj or reds? Just watched highlights. Wow kids grow fast and look more mature these days. None of the players in either side looked U17!
Comments: The Goalkeeper showed solid fundamentals. His saves did not give much rebounds mostly to the sides or above
Comments: Wow, I just finished watching it on tape
Comments: Great win! I could not spot any under 17 players on either team. Our guys looked like they were well into their 20s. |
