I like to add that there have been more large scale genocides in contemporary times, and a lot more in smaller scale, even in our own country during qajar dynasty by no other than a man that is considered a hero by the nation! The two major ones that you missed in your list, that happened in the last 50 years, are the ones against Cambodian and Bosnian populations. There have been so many genocides in human history, but few followed by intended eradication of cultures that impacted the course of history. Qadesieh invasion of Arabs of Iranian empire, enabled Arabs with riches gained to conquer other regions , enslave Iranian women and men and eradicate to a point a proud culture. Eradication of indigenous people of Americas by European settlers, demised or eradicated many cultures. And we know the consequences of holocaust that Palestinians paid the price for.
