Comments: Zibakalam was in my university in England when I was doing my Ph.D. He was doing color chemistry and was the head of student Islamic association. For this reason, never established friendship, though I had quite a quite associate in his department. He used to go to Iran every summer and in one of those ocassions, did not allow to leave Iran due to his political activities, but was not jailed and actually allowed to work in one of universities, despite not completing even his master. His wife did not wear hejab, and were later divorced. Few years passed, and I returned to the same university to do post doctoral fellowship only to find him again, but low post revolution and he is studying peace! I believe this time around he did complete his Ph.D! and went up to Iran to deliver his charandyat to different media.
Comments: "Iran is also scared to death right now. " Indeed
Comments: That is why you see people like ZibaKalam and the other guy talk on TV and they are airing Javad Zarif view.
Comments: Without a doubt the motive of Hamas was to destroy the potential coalition of Israel- Saudi. And their client was Iran. They did not care about human tragedy. I am sure they pocketed the money from Iran. I just can not understand how Israel did not figure it and fell to the trap. I am also surprised why nobody talk about it. Having said that, Iran is also scared to death right now.
Comments: God bless his soul. This is from more than 5 years ago. He was a master in connecting dots.
Comments: This is what Manook was talking about. The real issue. Eastern Mediterranean natural gas exploration focused on the Levant Basin![]() Source: U.S. Energy Information Administration, IHS EDIN Note: Click to enlarge. Republished August 20, 2013, 1:30 p.m. to correct a source for the map. Offshore natural gas discoveries in the Levant Basin have the potential to significantly alter energy supply dynamics in the eastern Mediterranean region and could spur natural gas exports in the near future. Uncertainty over the location and configuration of export infrastructure persists, but several proposals are making progress despite complications posed by regional security problems, territorial disputes, and macroeconomic uncertainty.
Comments: Shahin. Yes. Aljazeera is as nauseating as Fox and CNN. I was no longer interested in watching the killings of civilians after day 3. I simply cannot. I am now more interested on hearing tahlils on what is going on.
Comments: I actually think the label of "Chosen People" should go to Palestinians. Chosen to live in misery for decades. No Islam, no god, no Arab brothers, no Christian brothers are watching for them.
Comments: Keep in mind that the officials in IRI are all smiles from ears to ear. They're also smart enough to stay out of it.
Comments: Shahin, as Blinken said, public opinion is not the priority right now, priority is to get the job done. KAmkAr, more than Israel, the big question is on Israel Allies (US, EU, Japan, Korea, India) and how unconditionally they are supporting Israel in this journey. All against ceasefire.
Comments: Well, it's obvious again. They don't want the Arab world to normalize their relationship with Israel and have them left alone at the merci of the chosen people. In their mind the timing was just right.
Comments: Kamkar:
I agree but why now? I think it has to do with all these Arab countries normalizing relationship with Israel. This goal has lined up with Iran's goals in general in middle east
Comments: Shahin, it's obvious what Hamas's goal was. They wanted Israel to do what they're doing right now because Hamas don't care how many Palestinians die. I think Israel fell into Hamas's trap. Israel looks really bad today among people all over the world.
Comments: This koskhol pimp guy gets up in the morning, watches Al Jazeera showing all the misery and the first thing he thinks about is blaming the guys on this site. That is the radius of his imaginary world |
