Comments: According to the wiki page below he just turned 17. FIFA required this tournament players to be born after Jan 1, 2006.
I read somewhere that the process is for teams to submit birth certificates and passports which they cross reference. They can further request more documentation from the federation. If necessary they can. do a series of medical examinations if required

Comments: Unless my math is wrong, Arsha Shakouri is 18 years old. I don’t know how the age restriction works for this tournament. Perhaps they needed to be U17 when the qualifications started?
