Comments: Farzad: It seems like all of these countries with oil & Islamic ideologies need support of these groups to manipulate events. Saudis have Al Qaeda, Iran has Hezbollah, Houthis, etc, Qatar has Hamas, Pakistan has Taliban. Since US also deals with these countries to look after her interest (mainly oil and financial markets), it needs to play the game. Now the question is when is enough is enough with any one of these groups that US can set aside its interest and work with these countries to give up their noche. This situation perhaps is one of those situations
Comments: Sadegh Zibakalam اپوزیسیون دیروز و اپوزیسیون امروز؛ و مناقشۀ اعراب و اسرائیل بسیاری از چهرههای اپوزیسیون و رسانههای نزدیک به آنها،خیلی صریح و علنی، در توصیف حماس و سایر مبارزین فلسطینی ادبیاتی همچون «تروریست»، «بیرحم»، «جنایتکار» و «مزدوران ج.ا» بکار میبرند. متقابلاً، اسرائیل را برحق وقانونمدار میدانند. جانبداری اپوزیسیون یا انقلابیون امروز از اسرائیل، درست نقطۀ مقابل اپوزیسیون و انقلابیون دیروز در سال ۵۷ است. اپوزیسیون محمدرضاشاه پهلوی، همچون نظام ج.ا امروز، اسرائیل را غاصب، ظالم، تجاوزگر و جنایتکار میدانست و متقابلاً فلسطینیها را مظلوم و قربانی صهیونیسم و اربابان غربی آنها. اگر مشاهدهگری از مریخ در سال ۵۷ به ایران آمده بود و ستایش ایرانیان از فلسطینیها و استقبال میلیونیشان از «یاسر عرفات»، رهبر فلسطینیها در تهران را مشاهده میکرد، و امروز همان مریخی مجدداً به ایران میآمد، از تغییر جهت بسیاری از ایرانیها در قبال مناقشۀ اعراب و اسرائیل، بهتزده میشد. متحیر میماند که چگونه بسیاری از چهرههای اپوزیسیون خارج از کشور، بالأخص سلطنتطلبها، حماس و مبارزین فلسطینی را «تروریست» و «آدمکش» خطاب میکنند. گیج میشد و تردید میکرد که شاید اشتباهاً به سرزمین دیگری رفته است. چگونه ممکن است که ۴۵ سال پیش، فلسطینیها آنقدر ارج و قرب در میان ایرانیان داشتند، اما حالا بهچشم «تروریست» و «قاتل» بهآنها مینگرند؟ شاید اگر مریخی متحیر، اندکی کنکاش میکرد، در مییافت که نه نگاه اپوزیسیون ۴۵ سال قبل، و نه نگاه اپوزیسیون امروز، چندان ارتباطی به ریشههای تاریخی مناقشۀ اعراب و اسرائیل پیدا نمیکند. فیالواقع بسیاری از ایرانیان، چه دیروز و چه امروز، نه فهم چندانی از اسباب و علل و چگونگی بوجود آمدن اسرائیل دارند، و نه از ۴۰۰۰ سال تاریخ یهودیت و فلسطین چیزی میدانند. مبناء داوری آنها، چه دیروز و چه امروز، بغض و کینهای است که نسبت به حکومت دارند. حکومت محمدرضاشاه پهلوی مناسبات گرم و نزدیکی با اسرائیل داشت، بنابراین اپوزیسیون چشم دیدن اسرائیل را نداشت. امروز برعکس شده و نظام ج.ا با اسرائیل دشمن و خواهان نابودی آن و متقابلاً با فلسطینیها سری سوا دارد، و این باعث شده که اپوزیسیون از اسرائیل طرفداری کرده و چشم دیدن فلسطینیها را ندارد.

Heads of HAMAS are identified as terrorists. Why doesn't US just ask for their heads in Qatar. You kill the Fat five of Hamas, you do not need to assault much in Gaza.

Comments: Just finished hearing Blinken in the UN Security Council. I honestly don’t believe a word when he talks about two state solution. The chosen people do not want a two state solution. Even in small West Bank an average Palestinian can not move around freely from one part to another without going through many Israeli check points. Not to mention the fact that they are constantly harassed by armed settlers. Again, Occupation is the worst form of terrorisem.
