Comments: Rafah border is opening up at 11 PM pacific. It seems like they will let foreign nationals out and Egyptian will get humanitarian aid into Gaza
Comments: Farzad, I really doubt that Clinton's plan was exactly that. I can't see the chosen people ever agree to something like that. I'm sure there were other things that was not publicized and Arafat bailed out. But I could be wrong.
Comments: "99% of Gazans don't have any connections with Hamas". '
Comments: KAmkAr. Bill Clinton's plan was exactly that. Arafat caved in last minute. Fear of assassination. In general everything you say about Israelis you are correct. Israel is condemned, but Palestinians and Palestinian leadership are accountable. Any which way we look at it, as Shahin said Hamas is fully responsible for Gazan people. What Hamas did was essentially letting Gazans commit suicide. Nobody is surprised, nobody would have been surprised by the monumental retaliations. The first reaction of Gazans after Hamas committing the ruthless crime was most probably "Oh shit, lord have mercy, we are fucked". That just shows how much Hamas does not value the lives of Palestinians and the betterment of their lives. They are an ideological organization who are after implementing their version of Islamic state. We cannot just in this stage of the war solely condemn Israel and its brutal reaction and reallocations. Hamas is majorly accountable. We shall condemn both. Continuously. But we soon forget. let's not lose sight on corrupt Palestinian leadership the past decades. Palestinians have not been best represented. To some extent Abbas played ball but with Hamas, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad who force themselves to be voice of the Palestinian this will not go anywhere.
Comments: Farzad, Israel can put an end to all the bloodshed on both sides. They must stop building these illegal settlements and pull back from all illegal settlements that they've built before. But like I said they just love taking others lands. Not acceptable!
Comments: We can't have the constant mentality of what happened in the past. The big issue is that no one steps up to say ok "fuck the past, what do we do now?" No one is advocating a "Come to Jesus meeting". ' "Most of the voices looking for violence or trouble are people who are just focused on what happened two years ago, 20 years ago, seventy years ago, or thousand years ago. People who are trying to solve those problems in that context often were looking more to use those past grievances as a justification for their power and for the bad behavior that they were looking to perpetuate. "
Comments: KAmkAr ' There are helpless people who are at Rafah corridor. Rafah Crossing is the only pedestrian crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. Because of the closure Israel imposes on Gaza’s land crossings, and the ban on air and sea travel to and from Gaza, Rafah Crossing has become a vital route to the outside world for Gaza’s residents over the years. ' The problem is that Egypt has closed it since last Saturday. That's just wrong. This is also the only corridor that humanitarian help can get to Gaza.
Comments: Farzad, leaving Gaza and entering Egypt should be the last thing Palestinians could do. That's what exactly Israel wants. "The chosen people" have a big appetite for other people's land. Remember Nut&Yaboo's map in the UN.
Comments: KAmkAr. Arab support of Palestinians is just a slogan. Nobody wants to deal with them. They person who did has been Jordan. Forget about Blinken trip, the big question is that why Egypt is not opening a corridor for humanitarian relief. Saini Peninsula is vast and empty.
Comments: KAmkAr. More I dig in, more I am seeing that this is a USA initiative / Directive. As much as we have the presumption that Israel forces upon things on USA. I am finding that it is the other way around. This is all US, driving Israel. ![]()
Comments: Don't you guys find Blinken's comments in the six Arabic capitals a bit arrogant. First thing out of his mouth in front of his Arab hosts is t"we're 100% behind Israel". Shame on all those Arab countries leaders. They're all acting like a bitch. Now that you're all such cowards, don't invite the guy to come in and humiliate you in front of your own people who are siding with the Palestinians.
Comments: The best phrase to describe IRI is “kaseh dagh taraz ash” Bunch of harto poort from Abdollahian about Israel.
Comments: Iran sent a message to Israel on Saturday stressing that it does not want further escalation in the Hamas-Israel war, but that it will have to intervene if the Israeli operation in Gaza continues, two diplomatic sources with knowledge of the situation told Axios. Why it matters: The fighting between Hamas and Israel will turn into a regional war if Iran gets involved either directly or indirectly, such as through a militant group in Syria or by backing any Hezbollah decision to fully join the fighting.
Behind the scenes: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with UN envoy to the Middle East Tor Wennesland on Saturday in Beirut, the two diplomatic sources said.
Wennesland called Israeli national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi and other officials and conveyed Iran's message, the sources said.
What they're saying: Amir-Abdollahian, who earlier met with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, said in a briefing with reporters in Beirut on Saturday that Israel must "stop the crimes against civilians in Gaza — because it might be too late in a few hours."
Comments: Israel and US should allow keeping the hospital open. That is really unreasonable, yet inhumane. They can make a deal that israel will even control the premier of hospitals as long as there is no militia men. Maybe even supply care. They will lose nothing, they will still level and siege the rest of northern Gaza.
Comments: Why? What was the motive? |
