Kamkar, regarding your statement about Georgian and Armenian sentiments about Iran, or being under the rule of Iran

 

 

Our history books writers, have observed several Taboo subjects and have avoided detailed exploration of few subjects in our history of last 2-3 centuries. Is not just historians of this regime, as they are following the trail set for in the previous regime and oddly enough even by the “ glorious Tudeh party” master historian, Tabari.

 

 

One of the subjects that has not been explored fully, or has been avoided is the role of Armenian and Georgians collaborating with Russians in the defeat of Iranian Army of Abbas Mirza to Russians and hence Gulistan and Turkmen Chai treaties.

 

Not blaming them for wanting to take refuge in the arms of big orthodox Christian brother, after suffering many years under Muslim rule, particularly after Tbilisi massacre.

 

It just makes me wonder every time I see the map of what it was 300 years ago and all the cries about it, without even caring about this historical element. And to me, is puzzling why do we need this collective self censorship? To what end and what purpose?

 

 

This is just one of several “ taboo” subjects that you need to find your own facts outside of Iranian version.

As I said before, this regime is better off being like North Korea. They keep pretending that they are normal but nobody is buying it. They soon will go into a North Korea style shell and then will do whatever they want. They got few oil buying partners that will help to  keep the lights on while people will be looking to stay alive and not die of hunger

In fact Tajiks delivered an earlier blow to IRI ( and hence Suleimani) earlier by kind of “liberating”about 2 billion dollars worth of money Babaki Zanjani had hidden in their banks from the eyes of US.
