Comments: I honestly see certain things in Ferdosipour behavior which is really questionable. Like how he complements certain male figures in his interviews and also body motion. It is not like Ferdosipour was asked and was adamantly denying it. Of course nothing wrong with it but most of these people like some Pro IRI people we know, cannot accept and will genuinely deny and reject it. But I think at some point they will realize it on their own. ' https://youtu.be/Ps8UFQ69h1c?si=meI6yP-DCNvzLu4H

Comments: I can predict more pro IRI posts will pop up in the next few days over there. It's not the regulars that will do it. There are pests who enjoy conflict and will take the opportunity to cause problems.
Comments: Back to argument on the word/phrase "Amrika setiz". Based on what I have seen, it only applies to naturalized citizens (specifically Iranians). If a US born citizen complains about US government or system, they are called concern citizens, activists or better yet patriots. That is why we need so many guns in US so citizens can fight against a possible government that would punish them if they speak against it & to protect the freedom of speech. If you were born somewhere else and lived here most of your life and became a citizen 30+ years ago, you don't have the same rights to complain about the system. If you do, you are Amrika setiz! Talk about being a 2nd hand citizen! Most US born citizens don't call Iranian Americans Amrika setiz, we do!!! This will bring another phrase we are familiar with, Kasee dagtar as ash!!! Or even better, Az most ke bar most!
Comments: kAmkAr, I haven't seen many pro IRI posters there other than one who posts YouTube videos every now and then. Most others just ignore that. I might be wrong, but pro IRI is mainly not the subject line over there. What I see is a history that causes people to dig in deeper in their views. Labelling others & getting more and more upset about subjects that they might not disagree more than few percent here and there.
Comments: I must say that at first my sole reason to leave the page was the attacks but that became an incentive to stop hearing pro IRI propaganda from only a few posters there.
Comments: Well said Zinsky. If you're using that narrative to explain the division among the two pages, I really feel that the case is quite different and can not be summaried and blamed for holding on to bad memories and what happened between X vs Y and the insults exchanged or messages deleted. The division is more along the political views. There is just no need to be in the same room with other people who support IRI and vise versa. IRI sympathizers don't wanna be in the same room with anti IRI people. I'm talking at the admin levels here and there. They're the ones who set the tone. Basically, I drew the line when people's lives are involved, Not for the attacks from the one or two admins over there.
Comments: Good memory is both a blessing and a curse! I never had a good memory. I can blame it on age but that was the case even when I was a kid. I realized early on I can’t be a doctor. I learned tricks to keep important information in and let the rest go. The curse part comes when someone holds on to some bad memory much longer than they should. It won’t easily get erased. Most of our lives are filled with memories we can’t let go. I wish it was easier to just let some memories go. Let it go, let it go, let it go…
Comments: Thanks for offside rules explanation. I learn something every day. |
