Comments: kAmkAr, 😆😜🤣🍉
Comments: Zinsky let it go man. Rozeh khooni basseh. Instead share with us photos of Porto and stuff. Did you fly directly to Porto. I flew in Lisbon rented a car and drove around. Did you get to see the southern part Algarve. As I mentioned before my friend built a hotel in Figueira da Foz and he tells me that you get so much for your money in Foz. Luis Figo is from that area.

Comments: Shahin. Your Mexico City trip should be a lot of fun. Mexico City is the nearest metropolitan international capital near USA. For us from so cal is about 3 hours flight. So much culture and so many things to do. It is really a fun city. Enjoy. Many tend to spend time in resorts, me too. But Mexico City is something else.
Comments: Oh, I forgot that I don't know how to post photos. After 27 years here I'm still old school. But I'll send it to Shahin to do the favor.
Comments: Speaking of Ketmanshahi pahlevans, later today my closest and only Iranian friend here (only 2 Iranians in this town) who happened to be from Kermanshah will compete in a national bodybuilding competition. He's 61 years old and has won tons of titles statewide beating even much younger ones in an open category. I will post one of his pics from last years match.
Comments: Zinsky, what makes think that I don't already have hendevaneh under my arms. Didn't you know all Ketmanshahis pahlevans were born that way?
Comments: kAmkAr Jaan, If I had couple of watermelons, I would put them under your arms! 😎 I truly appreciate your posts and always have. I found your comment as fair as it could get. I’m glad you forced me to write here. I enjoy the conversations even though sometimes it gets too intense. Enjoy your long weekend. Stay safe in the heat.
Comments: Zinsky, not even in my dreams I could have expressed my own sentiments as good as you just did. Yes it's easy for everyone of us to applaude what you just very sincerely wrote on both sites. Personally I hope that I, myself can adhere to those words. Sadly we all as a nation have thin skins. Most of us on both pages write something in general and not necessarily pointed at anyone but it will be taken as personal attacks. One thing people, including myself on both pages need to do is to stop saying things like "don't waste your time with the other page". People are free to write whatever and wherever they want. It's a choice. I chose not to write there. I said it once why I stopped and that's the end of it. What I'm trying to say is that, you my friend continue to be the bridge between the two pages, no matter how narrow this bridge might be. I feel like eversince you started writing on both sites things have gotten somewhat better. BTW, I like to take credit for having you return here. I recall that I brought you here almost by force (I don't even know how that's possible:) Ok, I'm starting to lecture again. I gotta start doing my lawn before it heats up to 105 degrees and 115 with the heat index soon.
Comments: A typical online conversation these days between people who don’t know each other at all! Mr. X: yesterday, I enjoyed a cold glass of beer with old friends. Mr. Y: you goddamn redneck American! You can only afford beer? During a glass of French wine every now and then. Mr. X: FU American hating SOB. French wine is for pussies who want to act sophisticated. If you had any balls, you would at least try some CA wine. Mr. Z: don’t waste your time with this MoFo. He has no taste and hates everything American. He is a communist! Mr. Y: you F-ing racist Americans think you are better than me! FU. Your country sucks. Mr. X: At least we have freedom to drink our beer. What about your F-ing country? Mr. Y: enjoy your piss water at your trailer park you stupid idiot . Mr. Z: FU! We will bomb your little shit country to teach you a lesson. And it goes on and on.
Comments: I’m going to post this massage on both sites because it is a reflection of what we are doing to each other. 1st of all, virtual consultations are always incomplete and unrealistic. It’s not real. One can’t be sure who they are talking to. It’s easy to use different handles and hide behind a keyboard. We oversimplify the other’s opinions and label them based on few virtual conversations. Pro this, against that. It’s barely that simple. It’s almost impossible to detect people’s true feelings/likes/dislikes when having a in person conversation, it’s even more complicated when it’s done virtually. Most people don’t fall into a simple category. They might have different opinions but not necessarily disagreeing with each other. Just because someone likes beer and someone enjoys wine shouldn’t make them enemies. Unfortunately, these days, that is exactly what is happening. You either like what I like or you are this and that! Lastly, the word, especially America has changed drastically in the past 20+ years. Call it globalization or something else. We as humans have become much closer via various communication channels but much farther apart due to the same reasons. As citizens of our homeland or adopted land, we need to unite and voice our concerns in a civil manner but once again due to difficulties communicating, we only pick friends and enemies, no middle ground left. When talking about America, criticism of the current events is not about destroying the country. When talking about IRI, we can’t simply wish for it to disappear at all costs. I want a better America for my kids and grandkids. That doesn’t mean I hate America! I also want IRI replaced with a more democratic system but not by killing the people who live here, either by war or starvation. It’s crucial to respect others opinions even if you disagree with them. That is what makes a good conversation. Exchange ideas without fear of being labeled and attacked.
Comments: It’s ok Kamkar. He is a big boy should be able to handle it 😂
Comments: Shahin, there is no way in the world I would have replied to it. I'm telling you. Should have ignored.
Comments: Honest to God, today I have not yet read the other page till now. The reason I went there is what Shahin wrote about Gilan. I got curious. آقا چه خبره اونجا. غوقایی میکنه یارو.
Comments: Zinsky:
I will be going to Manhattan few times a year. One of these days I will take the train from Grand Central Station to Boston. I really want to meet you in person. May be I can time it with Farzad as his sons lives in Manhattan. It will clear up a lot of things ![]() |
