Going on The 3 yr cruise , if it took off, would have actually been cheaper than paying for food and rent in Los Angeles or NY, with a guarantee of unlimited access to internet via satellite and all the office amenities to conduct your business. I think the start and end point was going to be Istanbul. Would have been perfect after visiting Iran.

Comments: Thank goodness I left for a long walk and a short nap 😴 and you guys talked amongst yourself and resolved all the issues. This is again another great example of an online discussion. I said a while back I like to retire in Portugal and somehow I became the bad guy who hates America. Later it was discovered that might not be true and I just have a flawed argument. Different people made assumptions on why I might post here and there. Finally, it was determined that I’m living the American dream by wanting to live in Portugal. It would have been much easier to just say, “I would like to retire in Portugal” and the next post would have said, “good for you”!

Comments: I am actually very realistic without much prejudice as where I am in life. No way I am as smart as Zinsky, Kamkar, the guys that are teaching in University subjects that I will never understand but I am pretty much on par with Farzad . To the point that I got here somehow tokhmi tokkhmi. That has allowed me to look at things more objectively. American dream is exactly what Zinsky is doing. Part of American dream is to retire in an exotic and foreign place where you can mange your finances and experience a different lifestyle. This is a version of the American dream. We have other versions like I want a big house like my grand kids can come visit and I will BBQ for them.To me Zinsky is living the American dream and on his way to Portugal, wants to also kick America in the stomach

Comments: Hate to be talking about the other page except saying that I make daily visits. There are lots of pro IRI comments from two of the members which is fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But I do keep seeing almost daily comments from one member who's just plain #@$&*£. The admin keeps telling him to stop but it seems like he can't help it. Some people are born to be haters.
Comments: But honestly. We all see what Zinsky is saying. Things have changed. Everywhere in the world. Again I go to Sweden Twice a year. For more than 30 years. Things have changed there drastically as well.
