Comments: Shahin, I’m going to disappoint kAmkAr and agree with you without any arguments. Too many people moved to East/West Coast for better jobs. That caused the prices to go higher and higher & the average Joe can’t live & work anywhere close to each other. We need major corporations to move their headquarters to middle of country instead of LA, SF, Boston, NY and DC. Good paying jobs in the middle of the country would create the missing middle class and relieve the overcrowded and expensive coasts. Unfortunately, the large corporations don’t want that since most qualified workers left the middle of the country and don’t want to go back either. Other than that solution, we need to make state colleges and universities free of charge. There are more than enough money we can take from military and subsidized billionaires to cover that!

Comments: What has really disappeared and changed from 1950s and 60s are the good paying skilled union jobs that did not need college degrees. Whether it was a manufacturing job or a janitor for a school district. Many of these type of people were homeowners and that is the number one feature of the American dream

But basically you are saying MAGA but MAGA has it's baggage that you did not care when you were making personal growth in this country.I personally think the issue is that the distribution of wealth and where people live is tilted mostly towards the two coasts. Finding a way to get people to move to more middle of America where there is less population can help a lot of things. I have been reading about this a little and can get into or we can talk in generic discussions like American dream is gone, or my minimum wage job paid for the rent etc.

Comments: Most of us achieved the American dream, I know I did. I’m very thankful for that. My “complaint” is that the American dream is getting harder and harder to achieve. It shouldn’t be. This is the land of immigrants. We are the foundation of this nation. So much wealth and prosperity was created from young, hardworking immigrants. For America to stay on the top of the food chain, we need to keep the dream alive. I think we (the achieved dreamers) need to pave a way for new dreams, whatever way possible.
