Comments: Shahin, isn’t it that they are 5 VAR judges. And if their verdict is close enough (3-2) they call the ref?
Comments: Shahin whom he voted for just emphasise him not having a party loyalty. And these indictments are just adding more to his popularity. it is now peaked. Because many ordinary republicans are looking at this to be politically driven. Democrats did it in 2016 and they lost the election. In 2020 same thing, near 80 million voted for him, and now Biden in a downward spiral not sure how these things will help DNC.
Comments: This basically will result in not nitpick go with the referees gut call
Comments: I have been watching quite a bit of football this new season. It has become clear to me that the VAR process has changed for non calls and I think for better. Looks like they look at it in VAR room and if with one or two views do not tell them anything, they let the non call go without asking the ref to review it. If they stay consistent with this approach, I think every team will accept it
Comments: No I really think MAGA is still minority. Conservatives (McConnell type) and neoconservatives like Mitt Romney still hold the majority. I do not see DeSantis for example as MAGA. There are MAGA wannabe’s who are out there to get Trump votes. DeSantis is one. Democrats (not ordinary registered democrats like you and I), but those of the establishment will be ok with a DeSantis as long as it is not Trump. Trump is just a totally different story and both RNC and DNC don’t want to deal with him.
Comments: I think at this stage, who Trump has voted for in the past as a private citizen is irrelevant after 4 indictments
Comments: And more interestingly Candidates President Trump voted for in the past election.
Comments: Farzad: The MAGA contingent are no longer outsiders. It's at least 50% of republicans that vote. They also have representation in both houses that can influence legislation and hold things up. Left democrats are the same way but they are more easily convinced by the party bosses. The landscape of US politics has changed since the cold war
Comments: Goaldoost So, it is important to understand that Republicans in terms of values and beliefs are not represented by Trump. He is an outsider to the Republican Party as well.
Comments: Yes since Dominion law suit, Fox has been playing both sides even on the same show. They are ready to go either way
Comments: Goaldoost, remember you asked me this question?
Comments: Farzad, “Mainstream media houses, such as Fox News and CNN, led an anti-Trump campaign throughout his tenure at the White House”.
Comments: Rudy Giuliani claimed to have “scientific evidence” that will prove his longstanding and so far baseless claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election—evidence that will also clear his name after the former New York City mayor was charged alongside Donald Trump on charges relating to their attempted election interference. Answering a caller on his Sunday radio show, Giuliani promised to reveal the so-called proof at some soon-to-be announced date. “There are things we didn’t present then [2020] because over the next couple of years, a lot of people did a lot of work and have been able to produce more witnesses and what I would call scientific evidence that is very persuasive,” Guiliani said. The former New York mayor also claimed that both he and Donald Trump genuinely believed that there was election fraud that took place, further proving their innocence. “The fact is I know he believed it, and I did,” he said. “And many others did—in fact, about 50 percent of the American people believed it.”
Comments: Shit. The American Pulisic scored for Milan
