Comments: Anyway having him talking with us here is much better than not posting at all. This site we do 5 or 6 dimensional arguments
Comments: Thanks kAmkAr:
But he is very persistent with us here ![]()
Comments: Shahin, I do read the other side once a day and I do notice that Zinsky opposes some people's views there. But the difference is that some parties in the other site do not like discussing the issues in so much depth.
Comments: Still busy but quick note: Zinsky: You come here and argue like hell on the 25% (your word) that we disagree with, but let the real people there that support status quo, get away with things. It is not about them but really about you. Get the courage to tell them what you really believe even if it will stir some shit and disrupt the damet garm club
Comments: Fun fact or whatever you call it! 1980 IRI banned the Russian Olympics because the Soviets had invaded Afghanistan. 42 years later Russians invade Ukraine and IRI aids them. Is that a 360 or what?
Comments: Shahin, I can take your request to go to other site and argue with them two ways! 1- you are tired of my BS here which I could understand 😎 2- you find my argument skills good enough to make a difference on the other site!!! Either way, I’ll keep posting here and there and do my best to fight the injustice!
Comments: I thought I did! Zinsky an hour ago Comments: I sure can and have before but one more time won’t hurt. We know the effects of sanctions and they are obviously painful for most people. I know, I know, it’s not sanctions but the regime. I agree. No argument there but sanctions are also giving the government an excuse to do even worse. We don’t know the effect of “no sanctions at all”! We tried it here and there in Iran. Giving them few months here, few months there but never let it run long enough to make an assessment. It could turn out to be a disaster. It could make things worse. It could blow up in our face but we really don’t know, do we? I know you will bring up few billions released to them and most, if not all was stolen. That is true. I agree. My point on sanctions (relief) is to just lift it (don’t pay them cash). Give it a year or two. What is the worst that could happen in 2 years that hasn’t happened in 40? I don’t know if no sanctions could help people. I really don’t but not even considering it is what I find odd. If someone with a crystal ball comes along and tells me the future is even more bleak without sanctions, I would withdraw my statement. Finally, the USA has been using the sanctions not to get Iranians any relief. As you mentioned, it’s a way to control behavior of the regime. They always have an excuse to loosen the sanctions when needed! What’s the point? What benefit have we seen so far for Iran or Iranians?
Comments: Zinsky jAdeh khaki nazan. Answer my question. I am asking YOU. why do YOU advocate injecting money into the veins of these criminals. don't tell me oh Obama or Biden do it all the time. Why do YOU want these murderers, hostage takers, gharatgars and criminals to have their pockets filled.
Comments: In all honesty, United States is doing a fine job given the addict the drug it needs every now and then. Sanctions are just the drug rehab that last as long as it last and it starts again with another dose of medication. That has been continued for 40 years. We can do this song and dance forever. Why tighten the grip and loosen it later. Oh, because we need oil prices to remain reasonably stable! Do you really believe America has put in the sanctions to help Iranian people? They don’t want IRI to go fully broke, just enough to keep them at bay. They are not doing a good job of that either!
Comments: Zinsky I don't think shahin is talking about fake people like Farid lol Rahim or mashghasem.
Comments: No. What I asked is knowing that most of the money goes into the pocket of these gharatgars and you confirmed it does, my question is why do you still want to give them a life line. Basically you are saying that in my example of the abusive addict, it is ok to give the addict the money because even though he will spend almost all of it on himself, he will still May give piece of bread to family members.
Comments: Shahin, Reality is that I have been pushing back on some of the comments here and there. Few are just not worth discussing. I’ll do what I can. I see there are real people with real ideas that I might or might not agree with. There are also people who just show up with different names just to start the fire. This bad blood between here and there is kind of silly in our age. I’m talking about real people who we have known for 20-30 years. Disagreements are fine and fun, whatever it is between the two sides is just wired to me.
Comments: Alright done for a while today. Zinsky my friend, what I want to get out of these discussions in for you to push back on your friends on the other site as you do with us. Push back when they portrait what happened in Iran as Reza Pahlavi giving people false hope vs a woman being killed by morality police triggering massive demonstrations looking for justice, personal freedom and women asking for the right not to put on forced hejab. Push back when they say foreign players and tajzieh talabs are behind all this and totally whitewash any brutality by this regime. Push back when they excuse the incompetence of the regime with sanctions as the reason. Anyway I actually think I have been somewhat successful and hope to talk to continue the discussions
Comments: Zinsky: She still drives. I am trying to make her drive less. Couple of months ago she drove about 60 miles round trip to a friend's house but that is not that often. She does drive to grocery store regularly if I am not around
Comments: Shahin, Good for her. Does she actually drive or she wanted it as an ID? Funny enough, Boston turned out to be more of a retirement community than I expected. Most people want to retire in warmer climates but somehow they love it here. With that said, 80+ drivers are everywhere and they make me nervous. I personally have noticed the change in my own driving from 20 years ago and expect even more changes in the next 20 (if I’m still around and driving). |
