Comments: Upset? Hardly anymore! I’m too old for that. I’m just at the age to realize that my asshole is different than others. Not better or worse, just different. Some people enjoy picking at assholes for a long time. It’s their asshole but I don’t enjoy it after a while. Funny thing is that most online arguments are not about right or wrong. It’s an argument for the sake of arguing. I think we are about 80% in the same page but the other 20% is the problem. I’m sure you heard the story of the tiger and the donkey arguing. I don’t want to be the donkey or argue with one either. Either way, I’m good. I showed my AH and saw yours. I’m ready to move on. That was way too much AH for a while.
Comments: Anyways, let's move on and switch the subject to bahse Shirin e LAVAT What is Zarbdari?
Comments: It is really difficult to see Russia as the main enemy. Afterall, Russia was the main partner of Tudeh party and anyone who claimed to be a roshanfekr in the 70's had to have inclination towards Russia and left principally. KamkAr yes I know, Shari'ati too. Anyways, The report card of the past 200 years as far as what Russia did to Iran versus what USA did is a no brainer and available. UK is a different story, they were mostly operating like Russia normally does, but then changed after WWII.
Comments: Also, only 9% of US crude oil comes from Middle East (Saudi & Iraq combined). So I dont think they have much of vested interest in middle east. Over 60% of the crude oil comes from Canada and it i scheaper because it does not have to be transported. It is just a pipe. They do have the burden of Persian gulf oil traffic security for Europe and even China.
Comments: I think the actual facts should come out of Iran. When the top economists there say that the issue with Iran and badbakhti of mardom has nothing to do with sanctions, then who else should they listen to. Anyways, even this slogan came from iran. Doshman e ma haminjast, doroogh migan Amrikast. They see it. Again During Ahmadinejad we had the highest oil income. equal to 100 years of oil income combined. That money got poofed... no sanctions, no infrastructures, no investments, nada... all gone... All gone... no checks and balances.. no one knows where the money from that huge income ended up.
Comments: What is it they say about opinions? No offense, but it's like ass holes, everyone's got one. No need to get upset about.
Comments: Zinsky: Not sure why you got upset with sarcasm kicking in. You somehow got frustrated when we disagreed that sanctions will not help our society but totally relaxed with status quo as business is business with Russians dealing with mullahs.
Comments: Yes Farzad essentially friends and relative have direct interest in Barjam being gone so that they can easily move money around with cheap dollars. I also have a relative that is renting, does not have a car and has no prospect of leaving the country. I have no idea how he makes ends meet. He believes that US should be kicking mullahs asses anyway they can
Comments: You proved me wrong. Sanctions means nothing. America is doing a great job. Russia is taking advantage of us without IRI knowledge. America is trying to help and bunch of other stuff. It was nice discussing this with you guys. We can move on. I learned a lot. Thank you 🙏
Comments: Shahin, are you saying your friends living outside and relatives in iran like to have BARJAM back and easing of sanctions, because they like to see dolllar go down so they can capitalize? Makes sense actually.
Comments: Had nothing to do with sanctions. Here is Safaie Farahani about 800 Billion dollars which became powder (poof)
Comments: Yeah... if sanctions were not as brutal we would have been fine. In Ahmadinejad era, we had 800 Billion dallars of oil income with minimal sanctions. People did not see a penny of the 800 billion. Dollar was less than 1000. Here, chose the article which most fits your beliefs. احمدی نژاد ۸۰۰ میلیارد دلار پول نفت - Google Search
Comments: Sanctions mostly affected people that want to take money out of the country. For example, my aunt because of the situation back home to create a future for her kids decided to immigrate to US but no longer makes sense to sell her property and buy one here. Also have friends that started building apartments and now due to rise in dollar are very nervous. Ordinary people lives gets worse day by day with or without sanctions
Comments: Shahin, You are right! I didn’t say that but you are semi correct as well saying that the sanctions made Russia and IRI even closer. Sanctions are hurting the majority of the population and helping the small groups make deals with bad actors. These people have found Russia and China and even some smaller countries to help them make deals that benefit them but hurt the people. We can go back and forth trying to justify which country would be better for IRI and for the people of Iran. I do agree if we HAVE to choose, America is a better choice for people but not by much. Also, America doesn’t really want to. You can argue why America is where it is regarding IRI but it doesn’t matter. It is what it is! I was hoping that the nuclear deal made in 2015 would be the start of better relationship with the West and less with the East but what do I know. This is not me saying America bad, Russia good. Some would see it that way. I can’t change minds. Let’s just say, I don’t believe all this is happening in a vacuum. International diplomacy is much more complicated than I can understand. |
