Comments: Tourism really suck in iran. They can do so much in Caspian. Even Bandar Abbas is fucked up. Ferry to Hormuz and back is based on set schedule. But then if they don't fill at least half of the ferry it gets cancelled. And you are practically SOL. Specially if it is an afternoon boat. You then have to look for a place to stay in Bandar Abbas. The place you rented in Hormuz gets fucked and... Hormuz is still virgin and a great place for future tourist expansion. So much to see there. Gheshm and Hengam are also great islands to visit.

Comments: My ancestry.com shows I am 85 percent from Caucasus countries like current Georgia and Azerbaijan including Gilan going down all the way to KhorramDarreh and Abhar of Zanjan. I know that on my mom's side we have Tatar as well. My mom's Swedish ID has her place of birth as Baku, Soviet Union. And they kept it that way. They did not change it to Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. I also have 6% Jew. First report that came out had me at 9%. |
