The biggest obstacle "pain in the ass" thing for Biden will be if both RFK Jr and Trump are in the running. That is why we are seeing every attempt for their elimination. If he runs independent, RFK will take away a hefty democrat votes. He will also take Trump votes specially from those who were ok with most of his policies and actions, which are mostly still in effect without being reversed, but did not like his personality or the things coming outta his mouth. Still, I don't think he will get enough votes but will impact the other two.

 

 

He did say though that he will not cross the party line, he is a devoted Democrat and he will not run as an Independent candidate. With DNC not supporting him, he will end his bid during primaries just like Bernie did the past two elections.

 

 

Actually, if RFK Jr does better than Biden in the primaries and DNC backs him up, the chance of beating Donald Trump will be a slam dunk. As he will get some of the trump votes too. But.... for whatever reason there are strong forces against it. Forces beyond DNC.

well I am your source. I am getting emails from his wife so that she get exposure as a first lady. I agree dems will go with Biden as far as they can. This Plan B is just in case he cannnot physically and/or mentally serve.

Harris does not have a lot of dems support. I also think Newsom is setting up the 2030 election vs DeSantis as he has been to Florida attacking him as well

Yup Newsom is Plan B, but What about Kamala? Why would an accepted and committed #2 be put aisde in favor of a corrupt Corporate Democrat like Newsom. That is why she was chosen to be there, To become president if anything happens to Biden. She is also the head of Senate. Is she not a viable #2?

If I was DNC, I would stick to Biden even if he is dead. Forget Trump, Newsom would lose to an stablisment Republican like DeSantis, in a landslide.  With so much dirt and scandals including recall on Newsom, not sure if he can beat DeSantis. Biden as is can easily beat DeSantis. 

I think if Trump ends up being on the ballot, the best to make the race competative would be Biden.

If RFK jr becomes a DNC candidate, With his democratic values (Environment, education, Healthcare, civil rights, and...)  he can easily beat Trump. But Neocons dont want RFK Jr because he would want to kick everyone of those criminal warmongers out. With the influence Neocons have in this admin and DNC, I dont think it will happen.
