Comments: I did cast my vote yesterday. I did not need to go to my designated voting precinct. Any voting precinct in the county would do. I filled out a short form with my name, address, and DOB. Did not need to show ID. They input my info into computer. They found me as a registered voter and verified my party affiliation. And then they gave me the option of doing it digitally on a computer or on a paper ballot. Chose paper. . Nice bunch of retired people working as volunteers. Got them couple pizzas and cookies from Costco. They were happy.

Comments: Some of other famous US connected payday/ hojattieh “ clergy men” حجت الاسلام مرتضی آقاتهرانی مرتضی آقاتهرانی، رئیس کنونی کمیسیون فرهنگی مجلس شورای اسلامی و عضو ارشد جبهه پایداری است. او متولد اصفهان است و سال ۱۳۵۳ وارد مدرسه حقانی شده است. علاوه بر تحصیلات حوزوی، فوق لیسانس روانشناسی را از مؤسسه آموزشی و پژوهشی امام خمینی زیر نظر آیت الله محمدتقی مصباح یزدی گرفت که آن زمان به نام بنیاد باقر العلوم شناخته میشد. مرتضی آقاتهرانی، سال ۱۳۷۱ به همراه همسر و فرزندش به کانادا و سپس به آمریکا رفت. وی ابتدا در کانادا، از دانشگاه مکگیل در مونترال با رسالهای در زمینه آرای سید حیدر آملی مدرک فوق لیسانس مطالعات اسلامی گرفت. سپس به ایالات متحده آمریکا رفت و از دانشکده فلسفه دانشگاه ایالتی نیویورک در بینگهمتون علاوه بر فوق لیسانس فلسفه، با رسالهای با موضوع «درباره عرفان غیر نمادین ابن سینا از دید خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی» پیاچدی در فلسفه گرفت. آقاتهرانی در آمریکا گرین کارت گرفته است. حجت الاسلام محمدعلی الهی محمدعلی الهی، عضو مجمع جهانی اهل بیت است و در سال های آغازین انقلاب با حکم امام خمینی، مسئول انجمن اسلامی نیروی دریایی ارتش و سپس مدیر دفتر پژوهش های بنیاد شهید بوده است. او طلبگی را از ۱۲ سالگی در مدرسه ملا عبدالله اصفهان شروع کرد و سپس در مدرسه سپهسالار تهران ادامه داد. قبل از انقلاب واعظ و سخنران مسجد نارمک بود. الهی پس از جنگ در سال ۱۳۶۹ شمسی به آمریکا مهاجرت کرد و به تحصیل و کار دینی در آنجا پرداخت. فرزندان او در آمریکا متولد شدهاند. او همچنین عضو مجمع جهانی اهل بیت است. او مدیر موسسه دارالحکمه در میشیگان آمریکا است حجت الاسلام ناصر سقای بیریا ناصرسقای بی ریا، عضو مؤسسه آموزشی و پژوهشی امام خمینی و یکی از اعضای ارشد جبهه پایداری انقلاب اسلامی است. او در اوایل سال۲۰۰۰، امام مرکز آموزش اسلامی هوستون، تگزاس بود. بیریا، فوق لیسانس خود را از دانشگاه مکگیل، مونترال، کانادا و پیاچدی خود را از دانشگاه هیوستون، تگزاس، آمریکا گرفتهاست. وی از شاگردان محمدتقی مصباح یزدی بود و به عنوان مشاور رئیسجمهور ایران محمود احمدینژاد در امور روحانیت و مذهبی فعالیت میکرد.

Comments: American journalist detained in Iran as Supreme Leader Khamenei threatens US, Israel, State Department says Authorities say an Iranian-American journalist who worked for a U.S.-funded broadcaster is believed to have been detained by Iran for months, according to a report. State Department officials acknowledged to the Associated Press that Reza Valizadeh has been imprisoned by the Iranian regime. Valizadeh worked for Radio Farda, the Iranian branch of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which provides "factual, objective and professional journalism" to its audience, broadcasting in Farsi from the Czech Republic. Iran's theocracy views Radio Farda as a hostile outlet. Valizadeh's detainment comes as Iran celebrates the 45th anniversary of the American Embassy takeover and hostage crisis on Sunday. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also been threatening both the U.S. and Israel with a "crushing response" after U.S Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered additional B-52 bombers and Navy warships to the Middle East amid rising tensions. Valizadeh in February had posted on X that members of his family had been detained in Iran and pressured to convince him to return to the country. The State Department told the AP that it was "aware of reports that this dual U.S.-Iranian citizen has been arrested in Iran," when asked about rumors that Valizadeh had been detained. "We are working with our Swiss partners who serve as the protecting power for the United States in Iran to gather more information about this case," the State Department said. "Iran routinely imprisons U.S. citizens and other countries’ citizens unjustly for political purposes. This practice is cruel and contrary to international law."
