Comments: Shahin, cousins? Most probably, برادران مداح some how have become محرم with parastoo sisters of رسانه
Comments: The reports out of Iran after Israeli attack is revealing some major setback for IRI.
Comments: Shahin, the other thing about Governor / House/ Senate election is that the election result is not an aggregated result as opposed to presidential. There are red states and blue states each with mix of dems and Reps representatives. Even during General Election. In some elections the president may end up being from one party, but the Senate House governor majority may be from a different party. The voting scheme is different.
Comments: May be they were all cousins
Comments: This is so f..king hilarious ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Comments: When you get the news on polls it is seesaw everyday. It is so weird that in one day Newsweek gave 5 different contradictory poll results.
Comments: Shahain... I have no clue. Why? Because they have changed the polling scheme this year. Watched a podcast on exact subject. Concensus was 22 did not have Trump himself as a factor. What is evident for sure is that 16, 20, and 22 all were lopsided. 24 is just so fucking close..
Key for Democrats to win is, pouring out and vote. Key for Republicans to win is, pouring out and vote. It is all about which group is more motivated and deploys more.
Comments: Farzad:
I don't know the answer to this but will it be like 2016 & 2020 where Trump performed better than the polls or will it be like 2022 midterm where democrats outperformed the polls by getting women & minorities out to vote
Comments: The closest Election ever was the controversial 2000 election. (271 - 266) called by the supreme court in favor of Bush. Does not add up to 538. That is because some asshole elector in DC abstained from casting a vote for Gore adding salt to injury.
Comments: Some Election fun facts: It is indeed very close. If Trump wins all the 4 Sun-Belts (NV, AZ, NC, GA) and Kamala wins all the 3 Rust-Belts (Wi, Mi, PA), Kamala will win the election. This is now the most likely scenario. The closest of all states as I mentioned before is Wisconsin. Will there be a surprise state? Most likely not but if any, my guess will be New Hampshire. in 2016, 2500 votes seperated Hillary from Trump. If this holds true, in scenario mentioned above Trump will become the president. What is interesting is that in 2016, Trump did not get the full Electoral in state of Texas and lost two to what they call "faithless electors". Where one selected John Kasich of Ohio, and the other Rand Paul of Kentucky. Trump got 36 out of 38 electorals in Texas. Same thing happened to Hillary in states of Washington and Hawaii in 2016. In washington hillary lost four to faithless electors, ending up with 8 electoral instead of 12. Three electors voted for Colin Powell and one voted for the Native American activist Faith Spotted Eagle. In Hawaii, one elector voted Bernie Sanders and Hillary ended up with 3 eletorals instead of 4. Faithless elector scenario is rare... But we had 7 of them in 2016.
Comments: Saeed, there is this town in Wisconsin which they say the election in the US comes down to. A town in Dork County Wisconsin.
