Report: Quds Force commander suffers heart attack during interrogation over ties with Israel

Esmail Ghaani, an Iranian brigadier general and commander of the Quds Force, is under investigation on suspicion of maintaining intelligence ties with Israel, leading to his interrogation today in Tehran. During questioning, Ghaani experienced stress that ultimately resulted in a heart attack. Ghaani's chief of staff is also suspected of establishing ties with Israel.
