Comments: Its a very good game
Comments: I know most here don't care for Liga MX. But their clásico is just underway. One of the best games in the continent.
Comments: Goaldoost, and Turkey is like heaven for our hamvatans. Go figure!
Comments: Seyed, that's exactly one of the reasons why I've never voted plus other reasons that I mentioned earlier. TX is red. Why waste my time? Sadly with the new wave of wars going on right now, and the possible future ones the military budget will for sure keep increasing and that would mean more social causes cuts. Last weekend I was in Austin attending a social security rally against a 25% cut.
Comments: Farzad can do a better job of answering this question. https://x.com/Acyn/status/1835091751079755887
Comments: Didn’t know people were fleeing from Turkey (Turkiyeh) my Lyft driver yesterday was a 25 year old guy from there who paid 24000 to cartel to bring him and his wife over the border. Once here they apply for asylum and get social security in a year. Left because of Erdogan’s policies and economic situation.
Comments: My vote doesn’t really mater because my state will vote Democrat! However, I am really worried about the economy, my pension and my retirement! Whoever is the next president, I hope they do what Clinton dis week b early 1990, cut down defense budget , as that is the only way US can slow down borrowing. Following is from Jamie Dimon (Chase CEO): “Interest payments due in October on the national debt now exceed the costs of both Medicare and the national defense budget. National debt may contribute to further inflation on the horizon. This is the first time in American history that interest payments on the national debt have risen above $1T. "So, it's hard to look at [it] and say, 'Well, no, we're out of the woods.' I don't think so," said Dimon.”
Comments: I usually do not post articles to prove my point but here is one I find interesting. It even describes how announcing that US did a coup in Ukraine back in 2014 was a pure Putin propaganda https://newrepublic.com/article/173902/ukraine-war-cost-russian-propaganda-rfk-jr-greenwald
Comments: My Boca team is playing. Bye.
Comments: Shahin, actually thank for the heads-up against not critiquing the west. That was the old me way until my late 30's. You're right, this western lifestyle is why we're her but just like our kids that we love and care about, we can point out to the flaws too or else you can't be a good citizen. Not everything that the US does is perfect. We still care about our birthland. We don't want the warmongers do to our old country what they did to Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, etc...
Comments: Warsaw pact? What this has to do with it? Many regional and neighbors of Ukraine joined NATO and EU. They saw prosperity, democracy and stability. Guys do not bash western civilization it is why we are all here. It has some problems but what the majority of the world wants to join
Comments: It started with Obama. I can write you what lead to Putin taking Cremea if you want and how it happened. Remember, Biden was in charge of Obama's foreign policy together with another Neocon Hillary as Secretary of State. If interested I spend the time and write. If not I need to get some sleep :) It is 180 degrees different from Morning Joe or MSNBC's version but Lex Fridman has a great podcast on it.
Comments: So you wanted Ukrainians to negotiate? They already lost Crimea so lets give up more land to Putin
