Otherwise everyone knows that Harris has nothing to offer. So it is not really Harris who will be running the show. As far as the election though, anything is possible. The ultra Right wing Republicans are very strong, they are running our foreign policy and they are not done yet and they want to stay in power any which way they can. They are ruthless, so anything can happen in November.

Comments: حکایت اعدام شیخ فضل الله نوری و ۱۵۰۰ آخوند در زمان مشروطه ***************************** پس از فتح تهران توسط مشروطه خواهان ما در تدارک نظم دادن به مملکت بودیم که یک روز به من اطلاع دادند که شخصی بنام شیخ فضل الله و تعدادی آخوند برای دیدار من آمده اند . آنها را به سالن راه دادم و پس از نیم ساعت (که در این فاصله از آنها با میوه و چای پذیرایی شد) وارد سالن شدم و دیدم یک آخوند مسن و حدودا ۱۰ آخوند جوانتر نشسته اند ، از جای خود تکان نخوردند . به همه سلام کردم وقتی دستم را طرف شیخ کشیدم او دستش را برای بوسیدن جلو صورت من گرفت که من نبوسیدم و روی صندلی خود که روبروی آنها بود نشستم. شیخ بلند شد و با بی ادبی و صدای بلند گفت : تهران را فتح کردید ، ولی باید سهم ما روحانیون را از ملک ایران بدهید. من با تعجب گفتم : مگر ما برای تقسیم ایران انقلاب کردیم. در حالیکه در سالن مانند یک فاتح قدم می زد و پشتش به من بود گفت : یا سهم ما را میدهی یا ملت را می شورانیم. من هم با ملایمت گفتم : قبول شیخ ، لیست آنها که باید سهم بدهم را ارائه دهید تا اقدام کنم. با خوشحالی از زیر عبا کاغذی بیرون آورد و به من داد . لیست را که نگاه کردم نام ۴۵۳ نفر در آن بود . پسر برادرم سردار مفخم را خواستم ، وقتی ایشان آمدند بلند شدم و لیست را به او دادم و با صدای بلند به او گفتم : همین حالا سرباز بفرست تمام این لیست را به تهران بیاورند و همه را دار بزنید ، اول هم از همین حضراتی که اینجا هستند شروع کن. سربازها به سالن آمدند و دستهای همه را بستند . همان شیخ که مانند فاتحان حکم برایم صادر می کرد با گریه و التماس می گفت : غلط کردم .... خوردم دیگر در امورات دخالت نمی کنم. ظرف سه روز همه لیست مفتخورها را دار زدم. پس از یک هفته نماینده روسیه و انگلیس به دیدن من آمدند و نسبت به این موضوع اعتراض کردند . به آنها هم پاسخی درخور خودشان دادم.
