Comments: At the end of the day what people really want is the power of Agha to be reduced and almost gone which requires a regime change
Comments: Now today I spoke to couple of people in Iran that did not vote. There is grass root campaign going on in Iran to call people they know that did not vote to get them to vote in the runoff for Pezeshkian. The reason is that they believe Jalili will implement Taliban like policies or close to it and they want to avoid that. In my opinion, if Agha wants Jalili win, then there will be voter fraud like Ahmadinejad/Mousavi if a lot of people that did not vote in the first round vote now since their votes will be thrown out. This can cause unintended unrest like 2009 as people are going to demand that their votes get counted
Comments: I think there may be a different scenario. Agha just wanted to get the vote participation up to show the legitimacy of the election but at the end of the day wanting Jalili to win in order to continue his strong grip on the everything that is going on in Iran. Agha may not think that people will put up much of a fuss since if you can add Ghalibaf's PourMo's votes, it can beat the Pezeshkian
Comments: On the Iran election, some believe that Agha has let a weak and uninspiring reformer to run and actually wanting him to win. This will allow the regime to once again gain access to the western markets and selling market value oil by rejoining the barjam. This will go real well if Biden/democrats are re-elected. Agha can also still pull all the strings when it comes to social freedom issues since he will have Pezeshkian in his back pocket
