Comments: انجمن دفاع از زندانیان سیاسی آذربایجانی در ایران بازداشت یک شهروند دیگر در تبریز را به دلیل انتشار پست در ارتباط با مرگ ابراهیم رییسی تایید کرد. بر اساس گزارشهای منتشر شده «علی ریحانی کچوار» مالک کارخانه سونمز آذربایجان روز چهارشنبه دوم خرداد ۱۴۰۳ بازداشت و به زندان تبریز منتقل شده است. یک منبع نزدیک به خانواده آقای ریحانی، این شهروند با دستور مستقیم محبوب علیلو دادستان تبریز بازداشت شده و اتهام انتسابی به او «تبلیغ علیه نظام و توهین به ابراهیم رئیسی» عنوان شده است. کارخانه سونمز از تولیدکنندگان برتر سال و صادر کننده نمونه استان آذربایجان شرقی در سال گذشته بود. به دنبال انتشار خبر مرگ ابراهیم رییسی و امیر عبداللهیان، رییس دولت و وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی بر اثر سانحه سقوط بالگرد در نزدیکی ورزقان در استان آذربایجان شرقی، مقامات حکومتی شهروندان را تهدید کردند که با هرگونه «انتشار شایعه یا مطالب خلاف شان رییس جمهوری و همراهان او» برخورد خواهند کرد. از تاریخ ۳۱ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۳ و با تایید خبر کشته شدن ابراهیم رییسی و همراهانش در این سانحه شمار زیادی از شهروندان و کاربران فضای مجازی به بازداشت و مسدودکردن صفحاتشان تهدید شده و برخی ناچار به عذرخواهی و حذف پستهای خود تحت فشار نهادهای امنیتی شدهاند. ایرانوایر پیش از این مطلع شده بود که اکبر یوسفی از فعالان مدنی ساکن شهر ملکان در آذربایجان شرقی نیز پس از انتشار استوری اینستاگرامی به اتهام توهین به رئیس جمهور و تبلیغ علیه نظام بازداشت و بعد از یک روز آزاد شد

Koskhol what is significance of next president being full 4-year term or the cycle does not synch well with US elections? Comments: Some koskhol posted this over there: The passing of the President in Iran has a some of consequences that is noteworthy. 1. The current term was supposed to end next year. That would have given all involved(including foreign intelligence agencies) quite some time from now to prepare any plans they might have had to interfere in the elections or create political/social turmoil in Iran before the elections. But now with the short time left to the actual elections(June 28) it is unlikely that they can put in any plans they might have had. 2. The conservatives in Iran have a big advantage as they are more organized at this time and have candidates ready to put forward. The liberals basically boycotted the parliamentary elections late last year and will have a hard time to convince any of their main candidates to register and run in this presidential elections. 3. According to what I have read, the new elected president will not be an interim one. He will serve a 4 full year term. In other words, the next presidential elections will be in 2028. This is huge since from now on the presidential cycle in Iran and US will be synchronized. This will wipe out any advantage the US have had in the past to leverage their election cycle in negotiations with Iran. 4. Last but not least this gives the Supreme Leader 4 years to map the course of his replacement path after he is gone without any changes in the top of his executive branch. Maybe it is all coincidences, the conservatives in Iran might have lost some popular figures but have gained very critical tactical advantage in the future politics of Iran.
