Comments: lol, no I don’t think so. Apparently started as an electrical fire in a bakery. I had seen pictures of this village before. Simple wooden buildings all in different contrasting colors. A departure from the typical mono scheme colors of most villages. All in ruins now, but fortunately as far as I know, no casualties.

Comments: In an unrelated sad news from Iran, the colorful beautiful امام زاده إبراهيم in Gilan and close to Rasht was burned in fire. All the beautiful colorful wooden structures are gone now

In some sites , video clips of the savage attack contained some Farsi spoken amongst attackers. A little skirmish I can see, but these guys had come organized with fire bombs and pepper spray. And it looked like they had the blessing of campus police as they were standing idle and doing nothing. LAPD showed up 4 hours after the attack started, and by then the organized mob had vanished, so they did the best thing they could do, arrest the students that ere harmed ! It was vicious with American standards and at par with IRI practice. Even Jewish organizations are condemning it.
Comments: kamkAr, It is very much like the stadiums in Iran when they chanted "Parchame felestino bokon to......" and the other side asked for 1 minutes of silence. I think for many Iranians (not all) the hatred towards IRI is magnitudes higher. When they see their own struggling country helping Hamas with weapons and missiles, while their own people are struggling and getting shot at if they protest, just makes them even more mad. Not sure who these were.. We do have a large community of as you put it "Chosen People Iranian" in LA.
Comments: Cyruss, that's a shame. Just because IRI is pro Palestinians, it doesn't mean we have to take sides with the chosen people. Again, Iranians who are involved with this, no matter what side, this is not our war to fight.

Comments: I saw LeverKusen vs Berlin Union when i was in Berlin last month. Leverkusen really transformed with Cab. The Union Berlin Stadium was strange though. Three sides standing, one side with assigned seats. And it is very difficult. Like You just go and find your spot and stand there among the crowds. Like you can't go take a piss and come back to the same spot. All in all great experience. I am sure Her ta has a separate stadium.

Comments: Koskhol just came back from Iran. The very first post indicates that the trip was awesome, drone attacks were beautiful, going by train to Turkey and then flying home was beautiful. Lufthansa was great but the worst part of the trip happened when he dialed the 800 number for US Lufthansa. He has been practicing so I don't think that is a concern. But I think Tommy Abrams will start as he scored a goal last game after replacing Sardar in Roma's last game. They usually go with the hotter player. Abram is more part of Roma's permanent plan than Sardar

Comments: اعدام ناجوانمردانه یک زندانی سیاسی اهل سنت لابلای اخبار تلخ این روزها حکم اعدام انور خضری، زندانی سیاسی اهل سنت امروز پس از نزدیک به ۱۵ سال حبس در زندان قزلحصار کرج اجرا شد. چهار تن از هم‌پرونده‌های او نیز طی ماههای گذشته اعدام شدند. بر اساس گزارش رسیده به سازمان حقوق بشری هه‌نگاو، روز چهارشنبه ۱۲ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۳ (۱ می آوریل ٢٠٢٤)، حکم اعدام انور خضری، زندانی مذهبی کُرد و اهل شهر مهاباد، در حالی که پانزدهمین سال از دوران محکومیت بدون حق مرخصی خود را در زندان قزلحصار کرج اجرا می‌کرد، در سکوت کامل خبری اجرا شد. به گفته منابع هه‌نگاو، انور خضری روز گذشته جهت اجرای حکم اعدام به سلول انفرادی منتقل و خانواده وی برای آخرین ملاقات از مهاباد به کرج رفته بودند اما موفق به آخرین ملاقات نشدند. بر اساس گزارش شبکه حقوق بشر کردستان، انور خضری در سال ۹۷ با انتشار نامه‌ای شکنجه‌های روحی و جسمی خود در بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات ارومیه را شرح داده بود. نهادهای حقوق بشری بارها به شکنجه شدید این زندانیان و اخذ اعترافات اجباری از آنها اشاره کردند. خبرگزاری هرانا اخیرا فهرستی از ۳۴ زندانی با اتهامات سیاسی یا امنیتی محکوم به اعدام در ایران را تهیه کرده بود که نام انور خضری در میان آنها دیده می شد. این در حالیست که افراد نزدیک به خانواده‌های رضا رسایی و حبیب دریس دو زندانی دیگر محکوم به اعدام در گفتگو با نهادهای حقوق بشری از احتمال اجرای احکام آنها در روزهای آینده ابراز نگرانی کرده‌اند. سازمان حقوق بشر ایران گزارش می‌دهد که آمار اعدام‌ها طی هفته های اخیر افزایش چشمگیری داشته است
Comments: مطهره گونه اى باز هم بازداشت شد او از دانشجویانی بود که در جریان خیزش زن زندگی آزادی از سوی حکومت جمهوری اسلامی بازداشت شد. او در اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲ و در حالی که دانشجوی ترم آخر دکترای دندان‌پزشکی بود، بنا بر حکم بدوی شورای انضباطی دانشگاه به اتهام «ایجاد بلوا و آشوب در دانشکده» به اخراج از دانشگاه و محرومیت از تحصیل در دانشگاه‌ها به مدت پنج‌سال محکوم شد. این حکم در شورای تجدیدنظر کمیته انضباطی به تغییر محل تحصیل و تبعید به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اردبیل تبدیل شد. او در روز ۱۲ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۳ و چند روز پس از حضور در یک تحصن در اعتراض به صدور حکم اعدام علیه توماج صالحی برای دومین بار بازداشت و به بند زنان زندان اوین منتقل شد
