Comments: That was really ugly to see so many bottles and rocks being thrown at the players and even injuring the assistant referee. I don't want to preach to the choir but we all know that we have some of the most unruly so called fans in the world. Yes, you have the hooligans here and there but you barely see them act the way our fans do. when I visit home I sure go to Aryamehr for a game. It's been like a 30 year old ritual for me. Even before I arrive I check the game schedules and hope to get a top notch one, but if not, I don't care if it's a آب فاضلاب game. The type of language and profanity you hear in there is mind bugling. Most of the time I force my poor nephew to go with me reluctantly. So I asked him why is it you feel that way? Amoo, you will not find one person in the stadium who lives North of 24 of اسفند. Might sound a bit inappropriate but that's a fact. Sadly people coming from lower socioeconomic act a certain way that will cause incidents like the one we witnessed yesterday. Adding to that is the repression that's going on in our country. The youth feels frustrated and needs to somehow let out some steam. Thank God alcohol is not served in the stadium. There would be blood bath in "Azadi" if they did. The red and blue fans are also separated with one big section of the seats empty in between the two side. The opposite is the game in the Mexican league. You'd see twice the crowd, Most of them drunk and not separated by the color of their teams. After the game they go home peacefully. We have a lot of learning to do!

Comments: Azmoun dead tired. are there stats which shows how much he ran.
Comments: Azmoun got a yellow in first half for protesting during a 4-1 in aggregate match. He was close in missing on a tackle. It’s stupid to get a red in a game like this
Comments: One of the group activities to give back is going to the beach and collect garbage
Comments: Yes Farzad, the picture you posted is rarely seen in the civilized world.

Comments: I agree Shahin, it is a football thing... thank god they stick to bottles and not nArenjak. But the thing that is sad is go out to tabi'at in iran and you will see all the hazardous trash left behind by the visitors. From plastic bags, to plastic bottles, and......
Comments: that was a nice goal by Azmoun. But i guess technically it can be called a foul.
Comments: I believe that has to do with football more than fans in Iran. You see that every where not to condone it though
Comments: هنر نزد ایرانیان است و بس
Comments: Azmoun starting today
Comments: Farzad, I would rather see the fans refraining from those bottle-throwing acts than those singing those chants. What would have the روح رضا شاه said when seeing those stones and bottles injuring the players & refs?? IMO, All these ناشایست acts by the fans have congruency with the بد اخلاقی هایه players on the pitch. Mannerism & ethics are not achieved by watching EPL or the Japanese/Korean' fans in Azadi; but rather by practicing them at every game- at home & abroad. |
