Another piece by H. Hallak:
Let’s face it, MAGA. You’re not surprised.
This has always been the plan. And you loved every part of it.
You voted a "very stable genius" into the most powerful office in the world, not because he was wise, or honest, or capable, but because he was a wrecking ball aimed at a system you believed humiliated you.
Because you were angry and you wanted someone to hurt.
You didn’t care what he broke, as long as someone else paid for your resentment.
You chose a man who breaks rules, because you were tired of following them.
You cheered as he attacked ‘elites,’ while tweeting from his golden toilet, handing your future to billionaire robber barons, your healthcare to private insurers, and your grandmother’s Social Security to the war machine.
You called him a fighter. But he never fought for you. He just bullies the people you’ve always blamed for your own failures. Immigrants, the poor, and the powerless.
He punches down, and you call it justice.
You said you wanted freedom. But you handed it to a man who turned fear into policy, jailing protestors, silencing dissent, and ruling like a mob boss.
You wrapped cruelty in the language of morality.
You draped your fear in the flag of patriotism.
You claimed it wasn’t about race, but somehow, every policy just happened to draw the same racial/color line.
You told yourself it was about law and order. But what you really meant is order for you. Punishment for everyone else.
And now the damage is no longer abstract, theoretical, or over there.
Your job doesn’t exist anymore.
Your 401k is bleeding out.
Your prescriptions cost more.
Your town with fewer teachers, fewer nurses, and more closed signs.
Your veterans are waiting months for care.
Your parents are wondering if their benefits are safe.
Your kids are learning less, eating worse, and growing up in a country that's successfully reviving the measles, because, you know, vaccines bad, death and suffering good!
Congratulations, you got your way.
But no, you won't own it. That's not the coward's way. You've got to find someone else to blame.
I got it "People are just not patient enough!"
You voted for this.
When it started to fall apart, you defended it at every step.
When the cruelty became undeniable, you said it was necessary.
When the corruption was exposed, you said it was fake news.
When the economy cracked under the weight of the dear leader's ego, you screamed it was patriotism.
You chose this.
You normalized the damage. Protected it. Wore it like a badge.
But your cover is blown. The last fig leaf has fallen.
We see you for who you are.
And unlike you we forgive, but never forget

Witkoff may delay Oman trip if Iran refuses face-to-face meet; willing to visit Tehran if invited

“We won’t be played for fools,” a Trump administration official tells The Washington Post, arguing that what is needed to break through the deep mistrust on both sides is a “full-fledged discussion” and a “meeting of minds.”

Witkoff would even be willing to travel to Tehran if invited, two administration officials tell the Post.

Beijing has denied it is supporting Moscow's war effort against its neighbor. NATO has called China, which inked a "no limits" partnership with Russia in the run-up to the invasion more than three years ago, a "decisive enabler" of the Kremlin's war.

Mexican President issues chilling five word warning to Trump over drone strikes on cartels

Amid ongoing threats from President Donald Trump to use drone strikes against drug cartels, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reiterated her opposition to any military action inside her country. Meanwhile, Fox News turns on Trump as host makes terrifying five-word confession on tariffs.

“We do not agree with any kind of intervention or interference,” Sheinbaum told reporters Tuesday at her daily morning news conference. “This has been very clear: We coordinate, we collaborate, [but] we are not subordinate and there is no meddling in these actions.”

The president's comments come as reports are growing that the Trump administration is considering carrying out military strikes on cartel targets. Reports suggest the administration is prepared to act unilaterally if Washington cannot secure Mexican support. It comes as Trump suffers a mental collapse after a 'senile' moment on stage in the middle of a speech.

Saeed

Because I am calm in nature. And I am studying and understanding why this has to happen.  Will it work is a different question.  That is where I have my fingers crossed. It is nervous time because we are entering uncharted territory. And in general I am very optimistic person and hope for the best.

Saeed, do not panic.  The reason I have shit load of respect for you is, that unlike others you are a good patriot, unlike others you want the good of America. You don’t gloat if America is harmed. Your views on Middle East from Gaza to IRI to Israel is not too far from mine as long as it is in the US national interest, yet we both condemn the unnecessary bloodshed and unjust brutality against innocent civilians. you do not look at yourself as a second class citizen like the Qods site does. You do not resort to name calling, making racist remarks and referring to an individual by the color of their skins. You do not have personal vendetta on Trump like others do Which leads to name calling.

I am not 100% with Trump on many things.  But I am all in on his America First policy, Anti Wokeism, Border protection, anti Neocon warmongering policy, and ending the nonsense expensive wars.  I am a believer of healthcare for all, free education for all, and a healthy America.

We see indications everyday which points to not panicking. Black Monday did not happen. Does it mean we won’t have one? No.  But what you are seeing is that with any little concessions Market will shoot up.

Hang in there my man.  Is Moby Dick still around? [smile]

Kamkar. He has good hands because of power as leader of USA and because we are the world's highest consumers. We are in a $40T debt, this country is heading to bankruptcy. I explained it. $2T of our Tax money just goes for the interest we pay on it. Can you imagine what this country can do with that 2T?  That is twice our pentagon budget. Our children and grand children have to pay these debts. Fareed leaving 40T out is huge. That is for globalist funded Fareed.

As I said it is like I have a 5 million dollar house, 20 million of debt, 1 million income and I keep borrowing to pay my debt. I can transact, but I am ultimately broke.

Imposing tariffs is not what Trump is after. NOt at all. It is a bargaining chip. Just like NATO. He said if you don't pay I wont protect you, and everyone started paying. Almost everyone thought he would leave NATO. This is the same game.

Here are two real elements he is after.

1) Trade defecit: We import more than we export (perhaps the only country) and what he is asking is let's level it. Buy from me the same amount I buy from you (Which is totally fair). Not only you buy from me less, you also put tariif on what I sell you.

2) Trade barriers: Like EU, and their regulations... like we throw a big brick on your car windshield, it should not break; otherwise we are not buying your car. Same rules dont apply to their cars.

Tarrifs are just there as bargaining chip. None of that will be imposed. Will be imposed if you don't play ball. Will it work? It is a "game of chicken" and he believes he is playing with F-350 vs Honda Civic. We have to see.

China: Cannot weather this; the retaliatory tariffs is not going to work. We export 1/5 of they export. They'll get the hit pretty bad.

Am I worried? No! Does he care about the market, nah because the wealthiest 10% owns 95% of the stocks. And as we witnessed with one concessions stocks are back up. And he knows it.

By Dewey Carew :
Anything But American
A subtle yet powerful shift is unfolding in global consumer behavior: people are choosing anything but American. This isn’t just about preference—it’s about principle, politics, and purchasing power.
In Canada, the "Buy Canadian" wave is swelling. Retailers are increasingly favoring homegrown brands over American imports. Irving Personal Care, a local manufacturer, reports booming demand as patriotic shoppers pivot away from U.S. goods. This movement gained steam in response to political friction and perceived trade slights from the U.S.
Europe is echoing the sentiment. In Denmark, the Salling Group, the nation’s largest grocery retailer, now labels European-made products to guide consumers avoiding American items. This change followed controversial U.S. comments about Greenland, sparking a mix of nationalism and economic activism.
Down under in Australia, citizens are calling for a boycott of American goods. Hashtags like #BuyAustralian and #NoToUSGoods are gaining traction. From whiskey to tech, Aussies are leaning into local options, expressing discontent with American trade policies via their wallets.
And the impact is real. Tesla, once a European darling, has seen sales dip amid this backlash—highlighting how strongly political perception can shape market reality. According to reports, the company’s market cap suffered a significant hit as public sentiment shifted.
This trend isn’t driven by quality—it’s fueled by values. Consumers are sending a message: global brands are no longer insulated from geopolitics. Buying local or non-American isn’t just patriotic—it’s increasingly seen as a statement.
As this movement spreads, brands tied to American identity may need to rethink their international strategy. Global citizens are voting with their dollars—and the message is loud and clear.

kAmkAr, here is an example of the kind of truths that guests discuss on the Joe Rogan podcast.  You would never see such discussions on mainstream media about Israel or politics in general.  It's a very genuine and honest discussion, where they also criticize Trump.  This is the difference with the centrists/independents/libertarians.  The candidate that we voted for is NOT immune to critique.  We hold him responsible and demand accountability.

With regard to Iran- US deal: People who think, IRI will be stronger with the direct talk, are either total nut cases, or has agenda.  What direct talk means is Lybia style agreement, meaning you agree to disarm yourself without any fight.  Nobody knows exactly, what IRI will get in return. In reality, it is not going to much. At max, sanction relief for part of oil.  But is this enough to change Iran fortune? It seems, Iran will not be allowed to direct more resources to outside Iran.  Hezbollah in Lebanon has basically been stripped of all of their existence.  Most likely, they will be allowed to work as bouncers in night clubs in Beyrot.  Even in Iraq, same faith is going to happen to pro IRI terrorist groups.  So, what did happen to Ghazafi at the end of the agreement? Could he survive after handing out his arsenal? Same is going to happen to Ali Gedaa and his puppets.  Reza Pahlavi has enough support in Iran these days, much more than outside Iran.  But I have one concern, over his return to power.  Iran needs a character like his grand father to save it from the current mess.  He seems too nice to make that to happen.

Reza Pahlavi: U.S. has a third path on Iran aside from diplomacy, military strikes

The son of the former shah argued that with sufficient U.S. support, the Iranian people can overthrow the theocratic regime in Tehran
“All I’m asking is give the Iranian people a chance to put an end to all of these concerns,” Pahlavi said. “And if we fail, you always have those options. But jumping straight from ‘diplomacy is not working’ [to] ‘let’s go bomb the hell out of them’ — once again, you’re throwing the people of Iran under the bus which will only add insult to injury.”

“I think that the Iranians have understood that the more they are in numbers, they reach that critical number where change can really happen,” Pahlavi continued. “We are getting pretty close to that number.”

Interesting about Israeli and Syrian Kurds partnership.

WASHINGTON —
Israeli government officials have intensified calls to protect Syria’s Kurds as they face armed groups backed by Turkey following the sudden collapse of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Now, an operation led by Turkish-backed factions is aimed at dislodging Kurdish forces from parts of Aleppo province, including the town of Manbij.

The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, or SDF, have been a major U.S. partner in the fight against the Islamic State terror group. The partnership led to the liberation of most territory once controlled by Islamic State in Syria.

Salih Muslim, a senior Kurdish politician with the Democratic Union Party, the de facto ruling party in northeast Syria, welcomed the recent statements by Israeli officials expressing support for the Kurds, describing the position as a positive and encouraging step.

“Undoubtedly, any force that defends our rights is welcomed,” he said in an interview posted Tuesday on X by a London-based journalist. “Israel’s stance is correct; they have seen our actions and understand that we have never denied the existence of the Jewish people in the Middle East. It is encouraging to see those who recognize our pain and suffering. ... Beyond verbal support, we await practical measures,” Muslim said.
