😊 Any objection then when "Deporter In Chief" was in charge? Or did not make it to headline news?

April 5, 2014,--WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Protesters marched to the White House Saturday with signs labeling President Barack Obama “Deporter In Chief” to pressure him to curb deportations of immigrants.

The protesters walked for about an hour from a park in the district’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood to a park flanking the White House. It was one of several marches staged Saturday by groups hoping to force the president to use his powers to halt deportations of non-criminal immigrants.

“We want reform for our children, that they don’t deport them, that they stay with us or they stay here and they don’t deport their parents,” said Ceros, who is originally from Honduras.

“Twenty-seven years of living in the shadows. They are about to reach retirement. They pay taxes. They abide by the law. They deserve papers,” Huaman said.
Her message to Obama is to “stop making promises and do something," she said.

And to balance their news reporting, one of the local channels showed a clip of about 10 people at thousands oaks staging a pro Trump gathering with a monster truck parading the streets with the image of his holiness painted on the truck.

From pages of H. Hallak
They were wrong.
On April 5th, America rose like thunder. Millions poured into the streets from coast to coast, a tide of fury and defiance that shattered the illusion of a passive nation.
For months, they spread lies, claiming the resistance was over, and the American spirit had finally collapsed under Trump’s relentless assault on democracy.
Politicians and corporations quietly surrendered, believing the masses were too exhausted, too overwhelmed, too hopeless to fight back.
They were WRONG!
Over 220,000 people flooded Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. More than one million filled the streets of Washington, D.C. Portland, Oregon alone saw 30,000 protestors downtown, with countless more rallies across the suburbs and towns of every red state, from Indiana to West Virginia, Montana to North Carolina.
The myth that opposition had vanished was annihilated in a single, monumental day.
It was a cry of raw, visceral fear turned into action. Protestors carried signs that captured the overwhelming dread inflicted by Trump’s regime:
“Hands off Social Security.”
“Hands off women.”
“Hands off immigrants.”
“Hands off unions.”
“Hands off our libraries.”
The chaos unleashed by Trump and Musk is intentional, systematic cruelty aimed at dismantling modern life.
This isn’t just about policy disagreements, this is about democracy itself.
We thought Trump’s first chaotic term was as bad as it could get. Now, America sees the monstrous clarity of Trump 2.0, more disciplined, more ruthless, more deadly.
From attacks on public libraries to gutting Social Security, from stripping unions of their bargaining power to targeting immigrants with state-sponsored cruelty, the regime’s objective is no longer hidden.
It is clear, methodical oppression designed to silence dissent, erase compassion, and crush resistance forever.
But on April 5th, millions of Americans declared with one voice: Enough.
Resistance is no longer a slogan, it is a reality that spreads through every town and city, every state and suburb. Those who thought they could quietly submit to Trump’s tyranny and profit from our silence now confront a thunderous, unyielding truth:
We are awake. We are enraged. And we are everywhere.
Now is the time to join this wave of resistance.
History demands courage from you today.
The regime thrives on your silence, your despair, your resignation.
Deny them that victory. Step forward, join the march, raise your voice, and refuse to let democracy die in darkness.
The resistance isn’t coming, it’s already here.
You Can Stop Asking Where the Mass Opposition Is. It’s Everywhere.

I am sure, Bill became a nutcase too.... He was all over Trump. I guess he also lost his mind.

Bill Maher calls Trump one of the 'most effective politicians' because of his authenticity

Comedian Bill Maher praised President Donald Trump for his unique appeal to voters in an episode of his podcast, arguing he has something other politicians of both parties lack.

Maher has been a frequent critic of Trump over the years, but he has also broken with the left on issues like so-called "woke" identity-politics and the draconian aspects of COVID-19 policy across the country.

On Sunday, Maher's "Club Random" podcast released an episode where he spoke with news host Chris Cuomo and praised Trump for his unique ability to appeal to Americans in a way most politicians cannot. The episode was taped before Maher's White House visit.

"Trump really is one of the most effective politicians, whether whatever you think of the policy and him as a person, just as a politician, just understanding that - always lean in to being more who you are - the people are not savvy about issues, but they smell a phony a mile away. And that kind of s---? Nobody else does it," Maher said.

One example Maher summarized was when "He did that thing when the guy came in from the Taliban, and he said, ‘This is an aerial picture of your house, if during our withdrawal one American is hurt, just know I know where you live.’ I was like ‘Oh, can we just play the music now?' Because I don't care 'it's Donald Trump, and he's the worst person ever,' blah blah blah, I fucking love that."

"Democrats have to come up with an alpha, and it’s not Tim Walz," Maher said, comparing the 2024 vice-presidential hopeful to stereotypical goofy dads in commercials.

Yup Ali. P. I remember. The Covid time there were only two places I could travel to. Sweden and Iran. And did both in 2020 and 2021. No lockdown and shut down, bars, restaurants and barbershops were all open in Sweden.

There was just one thing that they had to comply with and it was the international Aviation law.

Basically on the jetway as you are boarding the plane you had to be 1.5 meters apart, you violate that spacing and they would call a police to eject you. So very restrict boarding with spacing. But then you go inside the plane and it was like a sardines pac. And you were like What The...

Also during meal service there was 30 minutes of allowance to eat with no mask. That was the time that either the virus would take a break or the virus was smart and respectful enough to not bother you while you were eating.

There is a compelling reason Biden Preemptively pardoned this criminal. I think he is still a hero in Swampland.

Anyways, even though you sound like a conspiracy theorist, I would not worry, as Senator John Kennedy said "they keep saying don't be a conspiracist, but then again conspiracy theorists are ahead 37 nothing " 😀

This was an outstanding interview.  Dr. Scott Atlas (member of Covid Task Force in Trump admin 2020) talks to Dr. Anders Tegnell, Sweden's top epidemiologist and architect of their covid response.  While Fauci was all about scaring the public and treating them like sheep, Sweden took a different approach.  People are not stupid, and they should not be treated like children.  Level up with the public, explain the facts, help them understand your goals, assure them that everything will be fine if we stick together, let them know what you are doing about it, and they will respect and follow your sensible policies.  But talk down to them like sheep, flip flop your story, give incorrect information, and try to FORCE your stupid mandates, and they will revolt.

UK prime minister said, globalism has failed, because that was a US initiative.  Yes, everybody agree with Trump tariffs. But they are looking to open free trade with India, Aussies, and others, perhaps opening up the old empire (Common Wealth).  It is far from Trump isolationist policy targeting to fuck United state of America.  I am going to stop this dialog from here, and see you guys in few month and see the results.  I hope, US will come of it unharmed, but will see.

Democrats conservative :). Hope you know what conservative mean.

Here is what happened. A new faction of liberal so called NeoLiberals was formed to mate with the neoconservative republicans. Both Hawkish. That is why you hear and see the alliance of warmongers like Cheney and Biden. Biden was uniquely instrumental to sell invasion of Iraq to the rest of democrats except Bernie. When you have a chance please listen to this. It is very education and is from a very left organization anti Republican and anti trump organization.

What is globalism, and why it succeeded
  • China was a poor nation while having an educated, hardworking and the most population.  By allowing technology transfer, they immediately became the manufacturing hub of the world.  And world market opened to their product, turning their economy to grow exponentially
  • India, initially did not join globalism, and hence remined poor and weak.  As soon as they joined globalism, they became the Software hub of the world, and wealth followed.  Now, they have become a different country.
  • Russia was not allowed to join globalism. And they paid the price.  While having knowledge and access to technology, their economy is smaller than Italy, despite having enormous oil, gas and minerals. So they may be strong militarly, but economicly they are a 3rd world country.
  • So, globalism is key to the success of every nation in the world.

Saeed, as I always mentioned my prediction skills are not as strong as many on this page. Even in Football. Even on this Tariff thing I am not certain if it takes America to the next level. But I am willing to witness on how it pans out.

I dont think as an American we would have a problem if America rise above no matter who the president is. We cannot be against it just because as a sore loser we do not want him to succeed.

But then again, you are coming from a total Outlier area of America, where the whole country was seeing one thing and the swampland was seeing someting totally different. No one can take Swampland seriously with this kind of anomaly.

Swampland and suburbs:
Kamala Haris: 91% of total vote
Donald Trump: 6.5% of total Vote

So I totally understand where you coming from

Farzad,
You can take these facts to the bank:
  • Wall street is against tariffs, or at least this stupid one.  All the hedge funds and major money holders are against it.  Every time, there is a rumor of pause, or negotiations, market react positively.  And every time, Trump open his mouth, market node down.
  • Every country that goes isolationist, will be fucked.
  • Group of countries that form trade alliance will be winners. It is fundemental of capitalism.
  • India will go back to where it was before globalism if they do not form alliance with others.
  • China will be the big winner.  US will be a big loser.

Today's stock market had a glimpse of something which weak investors will need to take into account. With the rumor of pausing tariffs for 3 months the Dow shot over 39,000. Probably some hedge fund money maker came up with rumor. Anyways, He basically has the pulse of the market in his hands and that is why I do not panic. I have been there done that on many cycles.

I know this is not a "ghormeh sabzi" Tahlil, so you may get bored. But as I said he is pushing feds to cut rates. And they will.

And as I always said from him all I am looking at is dismantling of WOKE crap, draining the swamps of Washington, dismantling the false promises of globalism headed by criminal Soros, ending the wars, and having a very strong America. The rest I am sure some democrat at some point can always bring back pronouns and non-binary toy stores back in America.

I know some hate to hear it. But I am hoping for a very strong America. A very very very strong America. I am sure those who see themselves as second class citizens may not like my comments. And I am not talking about any of our regular posters here.

If U.S do not want to be part of globalism, fine.  The first thing, rest of the world do not want to be dealing with dollar any more and looking for an alternative.  In fact, BRIC countries for so long have been advocating for it, and I am sure, more countries will be interested now.  I do not know what Japan is doing.  But their whole industry is now in verge of collapse.  Do not count on UK, they will follow where money is.  No comment, on Israel and Saudi with a total population of less than Karaj.  So effectively, Trump is on his own.  No one with a brain can follow a mad man.

Farid Zakaria explain all my points, very well.  America has never been greater pre Trump era.  He produced data to prove his points.  What will happen is anyone guess, but he is facing wall street at home and China and Europe outside.  Wall street is obviously non partisan, and operates on data.  if this trend continues, US will go into depression soon.  And of course, in less that 2 years, Democrats will take house and Senate with a big margin. Streets are already full of anti Trump movement.
This proves all the non sense like neocon and anti globalist and present them as an evil rather a catalist to make America great.
But, when Democrats take over legislative branch, they can only be a brake for further damage.  In mid- long term, US leadership will likely cease to exist.  Any super power will fall one day, and this was America's time.  Weather there will be another super power, it remain to be seen.  US will not be able to maintain its military might.  China will be much more powerful, likely taking over Taiwan and may be Australia.  Europe will also become more powerful.
