Comments: Saied. China needs to be dealt with. And everyone knows it. The question is how. Whatever was done in the past whether we did something about it or not, did not work. Is his approach going to fix it. I do not know. He has his way of doing things. Is it going to burn and crash maybe. I just don't know. All I said was that even if it is risky, which is and I agree, he changes course when needed.
Comments: Farzad Aziz: With all due respect, I am not in your when you state: "he is smart enough to counter any nasty thing China may do". If you point to anything he is done in his life to be called smart, it would be great. I do not know him, but anybody in this world who open his mouth more often than his ears, is called "fucking stupid". I also get angry when someone call him " business man". A businessman do not become bankrupt 7 times in his life. There is an unwritten rule that you can take to your nearest bank of your choice. Anybody who talk and worse make decision on everything is as stupid as hell. In US, it is called " Jack of all trade, master of none". I am not in favor of tariffs under any condition, but if you were to do it under some case, a wise man would invite a known specialist, and a team to make the decision. Presidents like Obama, Clinton or Reagan would do that.
Comments: SAeid. There is no full implementation of tariffs. The fight is over trade balance (deficit) and removal of trade barriers by other countries. Tariff is just a tool and it has been working as almost every country including china have been negotiating. Basically the ask is : Trade Balance - if US buys 500 billion from you, you cannot just buy 100 billion from US and on top of it you put Tariffs on what you buy from us. Trade barrier - do not put all kinds of laws and regulations on what you can import from USA. Unless on very rare cases, USA does not do that on what you want to export here. So let’s be fair. This is the two areas he is after as far as trade is concerned. Does not matter if tariffs is zero-zero or 25%-25%. Putting same amount of tariffs on what they tariff USA was his way of getting Trade balance and Trade barrier negotiations successfully going. And he is smart enough to counter any nasty thing China may do. And it is bipartisan. Biden kept some of the trade balances Trump accomplished with China in his first terms. Dems and reps both saw it as a good thing.

Comments: Saied. I can understand. The worldview is very different there and not even close. https://i.ibb.co/wNbkZxYx/IMG-9783.jpg
Comments: Farzad: I could not believe it, but I am witnessing it. This white house has become a joke in an era where all US corporations are using data/Ai to basically analyze their day-day operation and predict the future, the white house is implementing ideas based on fuck. They propose tariffs to China, without knowing the consequences. As a result, they are now begging China to come to table. China is a grown up in the room, calm and calculating. As an American, I am embarrassed. Every thing this admin is doing, is either unlawful, or heading to disaster. There are lots of competent, intelligent people in this country, I know that. But why none of them work for this admin?
Comments: Effects of Globalism on the US. Environmental laws in America and even Europe became the biggest obstacles in terms of competing with China. But China does everything it can without any regard for the environment. That's why Trump withdrew from the Paris Agreement. Comments: Tucker: They’re Threatening the Trump Administration to Force Them Into War With Iran
Comments: Rubio says war with Iran would be ‘much messier than what people are used to seeing’ “Any military action at this point in the Middle East, whether it’s against Iran by us or anybody else, could in fact trigger a much broader conflict,” Rubio said “Any sort of armed conflict in the region is going to be much messier than what people are used to seeing. And that’s why the president is so committed to the peaceful resolution, the prevention of an armed conflict. Although he reserves every right to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, he is for peace. He has said that repeatedly. And that’s why we want to end the war in Ukraine, if that’s possible,” Rubio said.
