Comments:
The International Committee of the Red Cross said fuel powering emergency generators at hospitals in Gaza could run out within hours. "Without electricity, hospitals risk turning into morgues," ICRC regional director Fabrizio Carboni said. "The human misery caused by this escalation is abhorrent, and I implore the sides to reduce the suffering of civilians." Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz said there would be no exceptions to the siege without freedom for Israeli hostages. "Humanitarian aid to Gaza? No electrical switch will be lifted, no water hydrant will be opened and no fuel truck will enter until the Israeli hostages are returned home. Humanitarian for humanitarian. And nobody should preach us morals," Katz posted on social media platform X. Egypt, which has a single border crossing with Gaza, said it was trying to allow in aid there.
Comments: When is the game against Jordan
Comments: “…Most of the voices looking for violence or trouble were people who were just focused on what happened two years ago, 20 years ago, seventy years ago, or thousand years ago. People who are trying to solve those problems in that context often were looking more to use those past grievances as a justification for their power and for the bad behavior that they were looking to perpetuate….”

Comments: Here few years back he attacks Israel and defends Palestinians https://youtu.be/2a16ywZhtjs?si=6zIo18RW1GBj-vLF&t=64 Around minute 1
Comments: Yep, he was one of the ones that did not go back. I wouldn't trust this guy. I remember him few years back on American TV defending Islamic Republic https://youtu.be/nLa0GABs3v0?si=9dAIKqLte7TzUydS
Comments: Coke: This is pretty weird. Kaveh Afrasiabi was one of the 5 prisoners who was supposed to go back to Iran as part of the prisoner swap. I think he was out on bail in US. Perhaps he was one of the people that refused to go back to Iran
Comments: As someone who lived with Palestinians, I fully agree with this article: https://www.yahoo.com/news/israeli-bombs-fall-irans-facilities-220259385.html Palestinians are the worst of the Arabs.
Comments: Under the proposal being discussed, all US citizens would be permitted to pass through the Rafah border crossing if they present their US passports. While the movement of other Palestinian civilians would be limited to 2,000 people a day, the official with knowledge of the negotiations told CNN on Wednesday.
Comments: I have been away from this site for a long time, mainly to loss of interest to Iran football. But I occasionally visit this site and read your posts, which also do not seem to be much on Iran football. With what is going on in Iran and the huge investment being made in other country, I do not think there is much future for football under IRI. But I wanted to chip in on the events in Israel which is truly sickening. Much like people of Iran, Palestinians people do not play a role in this conflict, but likely will be the one that will suffer the most. There is no question that Israel this time intend to do away with Hamas. With their strength and world view, this is easily within their reach. People should support Israel in their endeavor but lobby to minimize civilian suffering. There must be places where people can be sent to. People of Palestine must cooperate with Israel to get rid of this terrorist group, otherwise they will hurt them.
Comments: “The United States has rightly offered solidarity and support to Israel in responding to Hamas’ attack. But we must also insist on restraint from Israeli forces attacking Gaza and work to secure UN humanitarian access,” Sanders said. “Let us not forget that half of the 2 million people in Gaza are children. Children and innocent people do not deserve to be punished for the acts of Hamas.” |
