Comments: Yes Cyruss. This family was a small time Jewish farmers even in Iran. My friend lived most of his life in Shahrud doing small time farming and cattle work. Their older relatives left Iran much earlier but the young ones stayed in Iran until it became impossible for them to make a living.
Comments: Shahin, tragic stories all around, no matter which Angel you look at. Poor guy, escaped a hellish life under IRI to an eventual hellish end. This tragic story has been brewing for 70 years. On one side you have arrogance that f being chosen people ( hence we can take land as we please), playing victim card ( so we are entitled to do anything we want) and dehumanizing a nation ( hence Palestinians have no human rights). And on other side a nation that has been cornered into an open air prison, with their means of survival is limited day labor work at the land that they used to own, leaving them venerable and desperate to the help and means of barbarism. The brutality shown by the hamas militants was what Pasdars, basijis and deash would do .
Comments: I just spoke to my jewish friend who himself came from Iran only 10 years ago and he was in tears. Not just for the death of his family but also the death in Gaza and what he expects to happen there
Comments: A pesar daie of a jewish friend of mine along with his 8-month pregnant wife and another daughter were killed by Hamas rockets in Askelon. The guy moved to Israel from Iran 8 years ago and was running an orange farm in that area. He actually hired day laborers who would come from Gaza and work in his farm. I am sure there are tragic stories on the other side as well

Traffic resumes at Germany's Hamburg airport after Iran plane threat October 9, 20236:01 AM PDTUpdated 2 hours ago German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the chancellery, Berlin, Germany, October 8, 2023. REUTERS/Liesa Johannssen/File Photo Acquire Licensing Rights BERLIN, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Air traffic has resumed at Germany's Hamburg airport, a spokesperson told Reuters on Monday, after a police operation in response to a threat against a plane from Tehran prompted all landings and take-offs to be halted. A federal police spokesperson earlier said officers, acting on a threat of an attack sent via email, searched a plane with 198 passengers from Tehran that had landed in the northern German city. The German air force said on its X social media account that it escorted the plane after it entered German airspace east of Berlin due to a bomb threat. Police interviewed passengers, which is normal procedure when a threat is classified as serious, the police spokesperson told Reuters. No takeoffs or landings were possible because the airport fire brigade was involved with the search, the spokesperson added. The news came on the first day of a special meeting of the German and French governments in Hamburg, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Emmanuel Macron both attending.
