Comments: Farzad, I don't think you can find isis and basij in one setting together. Isis has never acted any acts against Israel. They're the cowards who wage wars only against moslems. You're both right. The faith of people in Gaza is indeed in the hands of Hamas. But what other choices do they have? Hamas come from Gaza and are raised in the miserable conditions created by Israel.
Comments: Cowboys should look into this THIS 7U QUARTERBACK IS INSANE!😳🎯 - YouTube
Comments: kAmkar,
What Shahin is saying is exactly what you described about F-35 , they know the consequence of what they did and what will come to them. So I agree with Shahin that Hamas is responsible for the fate of the people in Gaza. What happned saturday was not that just ordinary people crossed the line and came to show their anger. This was Hamas, may have included thugs of ISIS, and we also heard farsi speaking people so there were Iranian basiji people too. Hamas is disliked by 73% of palastenians.
Comments: No Kamkar, you are not coming too strong. I agreed with you that they are desperate
Comments: Shahin, if it was a normal circumstance and if they were at par with Israelis, you'd be right. But there is no balance between the two parties at war. One side has F-35 and the other is flying paraglider. Like I said, they have nothing to lose. They've already seen the death and the distruction all their lives. I'm sorry if I'm coming in as extreme but facts are facts.
Comments: Yes Shahin, I heard the speech from the old guy reading the script from his mentors.
Comments: Kamkar: Yes people are desperate but Hamas leadership has a responsibility to what is in reality mass suicide. This is not how you lead a group of people
Comments: Looks like Blinken is going to Israel this week so perhaps this will be to somewhat negotiate without getting Biden & Bibi directly involved
Comments: Pretty emphatic statement by Biden in support of Israel. Nothing about what is going on inside Gaza. Face value, giving Israel green light to do what it wants to do. I know it is election time in US and otherwise Republicans will score major points. I am hoping behind the seen Biden admin is trying to defuse some of the situation like cutting off food and utilities

Comments: I'd agree with the desperation reasoning. They got nothing to lose. Theses poor people are living in a catastrophic open air prison setting. They're getting humiliated day in and day out. They did so knowing what Israel's wrath will be upon them and they still didn't mind.
Comments: I would say desperation, I would say religious (because Islam does not respect human values, specially infidels). ' But what is happening in Gaza especially (cutting off running water) is as barbaric. The optics look different and looks more civilized. ' Shahin, works short term for Bibi. As he will have international backing. ' Any country stepped up to ask for ceasefire? I mean not just talk or slogans.
Comments: Not surprised Egypt intelligence official says Israel ignored repeated warnings of ‘something big’
Comments: Cyruss: The raid was barbaric and they taped it themselves to look that way. I think it was mis-calculation. They thought hezbollah would come from the north and may be Syria from the east to destabilize the region. So far that has not really happened. I also think this will work against Bibi. Someone mentioned to me that Golda Meir was ousted back in 1973 after a failure to something similar to this by her opponents
Comments: Doostan, please share your take on the psychology of barbarism displayed by Hamas militants on Saturday’s raid. Is it religion? Desperation? Or anything else? |
