Comments: Shahin, I suspected that would be the case. I’m not sure but placement of moving political statues may be right there next to political banners, making the case against the hosts.

Comments: So, it looks like the Iranian federation also agreed with the removal of statue but Sepahi people did not allow it. The AFC reports apparently is reporting that the AFC, Saudi National team, the game officials, Iranian Football Federation, and the spectators asked for removal of the statues.
