Comments: On Saudi AI movement: The shit show presented by major stake holders of AI, possibly, the next transformative technology that everyone in every industry now is trying to figure out how to monotize it. Saudi of all places is now trying to sell to the world that, we are advanced. Here is an exert of journalist about this issue. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting a colloquium of bigly names this week – including President Trump – to spitball ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) can be used for “economic growth, societal progress, and sustainable development.” That’s the official line, anyway, not that anyone with half a brain is buying it. The real agenda is antithetical to both societal progress and sustainability and has much more to do with providing Saudi with a future after the essence of dinosaur runs out and allowing Big Tech and wannabe autocrats to play a quick round of “Let’s Make a Deal.” What’s at stake? Humanities future. Welcome to Hell. As a journalist, I visited Saudi Arabia in 2015, where I narrowly avoided being kidnapped by a branch of the Pakistani Taliban when I wandered into a housing estate opposite Saudi Telecom’s militarised compound on the outskirts of Riyadh. “But was I in any real danger?” I asked after being rescued by the base’s rapid response unit. “They would have cut off your head,” I was told, matter-of-factly. This a fuck land comprised of filthy rich rulers and brainless population of under 40M. Hardly a place for investment in high tech. This experiment is nothing but money garb, by people who has no morality nor brain to do better things. It is like their strategy in football. Can you build football with money? Fuck no. You will attract several close to retirement, famous players, who are no longer in demand in competitive leagues. You can also build top level stadiums. But can you make a high quality competitive league? Fuck no. Saudi can continue to spend their money in football or AI. But can they make an advance? Fuck no.

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، تیم ملی فوتبال ایران با کسب ۲۰ امتیاز از ۸ بازی مرحله سوم انتخابی جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶ صعود خود به مهمترین تورنمنت فوتبال دنیا را قطعی کرد تا دو بازی خردادماه مقابل کره شمالی و قطر تنها جنبه تشریفاتی و بهبود جایگاه ایران در رنکینگ فیفا را داشته باشد. همین صعود زودهنگام تیم ملی فوتبال ایران به جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶، باعث شد تا دیگر نقدهای موجود درباره عملکرد امیر قلعه نویی و کادر فنیاش چندان دیده نشود تا کار به تأکیدهای چندباره مهدی تاج مبنی بر جایگاه مستحکم امیر قلعه نویی روی نیمکت تیم ملی برسد. تاج در اکثر مصاحبههای خود تأکید کرده که امیر قلعهنویی تا پایان این رقابتها هدایت تیم ملی را بر عهده خواهد داشت و شایعات مربوط به تغییر سرمربی را رد کرده است. روزهای خوش قلعه نویی در فدراسیون تیم ملی ایران با هدایت قلعهنویی توانست با عملکردی موفق، صعود خود به جام جهانی را پیش از پایان مرحله مقدماتی قطعی کند. این موفقیت، رضایت کامل فدراسیون فوتبال و بازیکنان تیم ملی را به همراه داشته است. تاج در این باره گفته است: «از عملکرد آقای قلعهنویی هم مجموعه و هم بازیکنان راضی هستند. اتفاق خوبی در تیم رخ داده و از جو تفاهمی تیم هر چه بگویم کم گفتهام.» یکی از نکات مثبت دوران قلعهنویی، تعامل سازنده او با باشگاهها و استفاده بهینه از امکانات موجود است. برخلاف دورههای گذشته، او اجازه داده است که سایر تیمها نیز از امکانات مرکز ملی فوتبال (پک) استفاده کنند، که این رویکرد به تقویت همکاری بین تیم ملی و باشگاهها کمک کرده است. دیدگاهی که در ماندن بی چون و چرای قلعه نویی بی تأثیر نبوده است. پاسخ به انتقادات و ادامه مسیر با وجود برخی انتقادات نسبت به تساوی مقابل ازبکستان و عدم جوانگرایی گسترده، قلعه نویی بدون شک روی نمیکت تیم ملی خواهد نشست تا شایعه به وجود آمده درباره هرگونه مذاکره فدراسیون با گزینههای دیگر نظیر فرهاد مجیدی طبق ادعای یکی از رسانههای امارات برای جانشینی قلعه نویی در نطفه خنثی شود. در واقع حضور یک نفر در لیست تیم ملی ایران برای جام جهانی ۲۰۲۶ قطعی است که نامش «امیر قلعه نویی» است!

Comments: Farzad, If future of USA relies on investment to or from Saudi, we are heading to disaster. Saudi does not have the population nor the brain power to carry out such projects. It is just a show off, and some will use it to fill their pockets, nothing more. Guaranteed. Situation is in complete contrast in our home land. Despite all sanctions and mis handling by mullahs in Iran, population is highly educated and ready for advancement. The only barrier is mullahs. Their removal will pave the way for total shake up of the our country. in nutshell: Mullah= Disaster + poverty ( more and more) and Mullah free= Freedom+ prosperity for all |
