Comments: Whenever my son makes a Europe trip, it starts with London and an Arsenal game. He just shows up at Emirates and negotiates for a ticket. Once he got to meet this guy who is on wheelchair and always has an extra ticket in the handicap section. He buys his companion ticket and pushes his wheelchair to the seats via easy back doors via locker rooms. The guy has 4 phones and gambles on even Russian league. He also has club privileges with free drinks & food. My son will be in London for Arsenal-Man City match in October and already coordinated with this guy

I went to watch some jAme doosti game hoping I get a glimpse of honarmandan. Well there way game going on and Namdar was the referee. He was missing one lineman. I volunteered. That was my first experience refereeing.

Comments: I actually did great. Having refered for 20. years and watching at least two games day kept me pretty updated. One of the pro players during the game told me sir you gotta come back from retirement. I would have but you don't see referees in their 60's anymore.
Comments: some of the most prominent stars in the history of Iranian football.
Comments: One thing I am surprised at is Indian is their soccer. You'd think being so much under the influence of Great Britain and many generations living in England, there would be many footballers with Indian background but not so many. Their game is still cricket and they have so much passion for it. |
