"We recognise the strong reactions in Sweden," the foundation said in a statement on Saturday. "We, therefore, choose to repeat last year's exception to regular practice – that is, to not invite the ambassadors of Russia, Belarus and Iran to the Nobel Prize award ceremony in Stockholm."

Comments: Basically, IRI adapted to hejab policy. Instead of attacking girls/women in the street for hejab violations, they use face recognition to identify and punish them later. They are also going after any business that are not enforcing the rules. They increased the penalties by 3-4 times. This is another source of income. Once again, if you can afford it you can do what you want. If not you need to follow the rules. This is specially true in Iran. One can pay a penalty for just about any crime and get away with it! Unfortunately, this will put more pressure on ordinary people, as usual. I really don’t know how most people in Iran can handle this much pressure. I’m thinking about where to retire and enjoy my life while so many of my hamvatans have zero choices! It does put things in perspective, doesn’t it?
Comments: Shahin, I didn’t expect those as the reasons you like “America”! 1-Be around a ton of family and friends (no argument but nothing to do with America) 2-Avoid cigarette smoke (most indoor smoking is ban in most countries) 3-Avoid public transportation (one can always buy a car anywhere) 4-Variety in tequila brands at reasonable prices (better, cheaper ones available many places) 5-50-70 degree weather all year long (most southern Europe) 6-Go everywhere in my shorts & T-shirts without feeling awkward (most southern Europe! In fact in some places you don’t even need to wear anything) 7-Have garage to park my car (not unique to America)
