Comments: Shahin. Sticking to an absolute ideology and not willing to have انعطاف پذیری creates extremism. Although those radical RP fans are acting as extremists I am not so sure if they actually follow any sort of absolute ideologies. Just like millions of people in 57 these people are simply emotionally charged without understanding the broader landscape. They are essentially bunch of obash. . Unfortunately dualism is a reality. And you need imposing hoodwink ideologies which are absolute such as Marxism, WOKE'ism, shia'ism, or globalism, to create that division. History showed that promoting any of such deceiving ideologies in a society is grounds for further division and chaos. All of those ideology examples I mentioned, in theory are supposed to promote unity, Justice, and fairness but once you dig in you will find out that they are indeed tools for division. For example effect of globalism in Europe is so amplified. By magnitudes higher than US. Forced and instigated migration through creation of wars (ex: Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan) has transformed cultural transmission into transmission of racial bias. The typical liberal social democrat people of many liberal societies in Europe such as Sweden are now questioning all of that. What happened to our country? What happened to our identity? What happened to our culture? The original intent of globalism (opposite to the meaning of word) not only not creating unity and removal of boundaries, but instead it is manifesting the hidden intent of it. Nationalism which used to be a pride attribute and used to be the love and admiration for own culture has now racist annotation associated with it. Globalism was essentially a fight against nationalism, and with excessive migration there will be no dedication or passion for the country you live in. Just like many of people we both know who lived here for like 45 years and they simply have no affection of any sort for this country. Even in a football game say between USA and say Serbia.. they root for Serbia .. most of these people will root for any team playing against USA.

Comments: Shahin thanks for the background on Azizi. I have shit load of respect for people like Aziz, Milani, and even Misaghi and I am sure there are more people like them who have open and dynamic thought process as oppose to many whose brain just simply froze since the 70's. . We were all at some point at the other side of the fence. But most of what I was taught was based on what was fed to me and one realizes at some point where things don't make sense anymore. . I kid you you not. I was at some chelo kababi parking lot last year talking a bit politics with my cousins and this guy (a bit older than us) kind of was hearing what we're saying and came in and participated. Started talking about bourgeoisie and petit bourgeoisie and all nonsense and still using expressions such as imperialism and stuff. Turned out he was still a chereek fadaei of Ashraf Deghan branch. We were like dude... Are you fucking kidding me??!!! . And honestly the only thing I could suggest to him (did not) was to go and see a therapist.

He is a self proclaimed communist living in US teaching politics. He is the son of Mostafa Azizi screen writer that was arrested but eventually pardoned and now lives in Toronto. Arash was the first recipient of Ardeshir Zahedi fellow (https://iranian-studies.stanford.edu/news/welcoming-inaugural-zahedi-family-fellow-stanford) organized by MIlani. Although I did not see any work coming out of him as I think there was a falling out between him and Milani. He is a very modern communist more of a social democrat. He goes to Israel a lot and has a lot of Israeli social democrat friend.
