Comments: The only advice I can give is to not take it too seriously. Posts/massages are just that. They are not real because the posters are not real themselves. I’m not me when I post! Just a handle behind the keyboard. Real people are much different than who they pretend to be online. Enjoy the exchange the ideas even if they sound stupid. Stupid people and their ideas make you look smarter.
Comments: Yes Zinsky that is what I have been saying all along about pests. I even think the Rahim guy is a parity like old Stephen Colbert. But I rarely see a day that one of the two guys there is not attacking someone here or quick to accuse people of posting. Attacks are less maligned these days mainly accusations. At least saying we have sold our wives & daughters to America has stopped
Comments: kAmkAr, I can’t be sure and have no proof but I think there are one maybe 2 people who post under multiple names in both sides and their sole purpose is to create friction. Why? I’m not sure. If this was a bigger community like Facebook or Twitter, I would even think it’s a BOT that is trying to keep people engaged and angry. As far as our small community, there is history and resentments for sure. On the other hand, as soon as both sides slow down the attacks, the unnamed person goes on attack on both sides and gets people all upset. Admin here is quick to delete massages more than the other side. Either way, people do read both sides and any attack on one becomes an attack on all. I have no solution to offer. I’m just less prone to anger as I was last year or 10 years ago. Maybe one advantage of getting older…😉
Comments: Zinsky, you're mostly right about the commonality that we all have in both pages. It has been a long time that there has not been any mentions or remarks about IFP2 here.But you have to admit that attacks and profanity is directed at us in IFP2 and I am not even talking about the extreme pro IRI comments over there. Like you always say we are not here to convince people to change. Those are his beliefs and if he feels that he is honest to himself then so be it. My problem is with the other potty mouth dude but then again that is what he is.
Comments: I have to say, reading and posting on both sites, there are more stuff that unites us than divides us. I see a consensus on the issue of the West/East and our homeland. The only issue is the way we talk about it.
Comments: I think the 30,000-ft view of world politics only creates frustration and helplessness. In a lot of cases brings on guilt and internal conflict, at least it did for me a while back. Comments: Zinsky: No question east & west are the same on the issue of protecting their macro global interests. I think leaders of every country has a responsibility to its own people first. For example, raising of interest rates by feds has had a devastating affect on poor countries that are carrying a lot of debt now their payments have gone up. Global markets move when US sets domestic policies. But Feds really do not care & shouldn't when they set policies to combat domestic inflation. I think what pisses anti west people off is why US has so much indirect influence on world's economy
Comments: Farzad, the two Pahlavis undeniably served our country and our people amazingly well especially considered the fact that they took over after the disastrous Ghajar. They took/pushed the country from stone ages to the modern times in a very short time. We are all the products of that policy and we owe them for that. Two reasons that people were not Namak nashnas and bi shoaoor as you called them are that they were politically naive and they believed the Molas. Shah could take some blame for that. The system did not allow political parties and he did not share the power with anyone else. Also, the religion was our biggest problem. There was not a whole lot Shah could do about that.

Comments: Reading some massages prove everything we are complaining about. Completely overlook what was said and only pick one thing or another that proves our point. I don’t think many people (or any) believe or should believe that East is better than West or vise versa. I, personally, have said it over and over. They are two sides of the same coin. Either way, they will screw us when it’s good for them.
Comments: This message of mine was not posted. Yeah. The only thing is Amrika setizi is amplified and Russia's devastating action in terms of tamamiat arzi and what they are doing is taken lightly or not mentioned at all. This Russia interference is also blamed on USA and Russia is not blamed or mentioned at all. Seeing this from Amrika setiz people is a no brainer and you can easily see it in various posts. Yesterday Russia claimed the three islands belongs to Emirates. An emirates which was not in existence as a country when Iran claimed those islands. None said anything or condemn it. Now if Israel or US claimed anything like that we would not have heard the end of it. Amrika setizi has become a disease. A disease stemmed from the so called roshanfekrs of the 70s.
Comments: I blame people's lack of political education, being blind to see what was happening and the progress being made, and relying on rumors and stuff. When I was a kid a toodehee relative mentioned that Samad Behrangi was drowned and killed by SAVAK. And we just took his words. Or even Shariati was killed by SAVAK. But now facts show otherwise. The other disappointing group was Nehzat Azadi branch of jebhe Melli. Bazargn was doing mobArezeh against estebdad. What happens? They overthrow the shah and he becomes prime minister. Then he sees where the shit is going and then he quits. He not only quits as prime minister, but he quits his mobarezeh. Comments: Well said Zinsky. I do agree with Farzad on his point about our so called "intellectuals". I'd like to call them Assholes :) Especially likes of Shariati, Ale Ahmad, etc. They really screwed up. I think that we as people did our unwilling damage. There were forces behind the revolution and we became tools to achieve their goals. And yes, these things start and you never know what the outcome will be. In our case the results were disastrous.
