kAmkAr, this is how I see things transforming. 

1) There is a united Democrat and Republican front. Now, as we speak.  This is the combination of Republicans (mostly Neocons, Never Trump Republicans or aka Lincoln Project) united with Corporate Democrats (Biden and friends). Pretty much the current adminstration in charge.

2) Then you have Social Democrats like Bernie on the left side.

3) You have your ususal suspects of Conservative Republicans like Mitch McConnel, governor Abbott, or De Santis, McCarthy.

4) Non-establishment Republicans. Trump and maybe Pompeo fall in that category. 

Final run of election, (1) & (2) unite and endorse one another.  Same for (3) & (4).

Shahin, Jimmy Carter said exactly what you said below. And he attributed that success, with China not getting involved herself in wars like Russia and USA did.

Shahin, yes continuity is the most important thing. I think it was Hillary who said exactly that. That it does not matter who takes the office, what is most important is continuity.

What I learned is that the continuity in terms of foreign policy has been set by the establishment , listening to Condoleezza Rice in an interview, after the so called "New World Order" doctrine by Bush the Father, the US Think Thank started something totally new.  Started with GWB / Cheney and continued on with Obama and now Biden.  Trump was an outlier, an outsider who even surprised himself by becoming the president and meantime altered / slowed the contiuity we are talking about.  As I mentioned many times before, this Russia - Ukraine war instigation was really supposed to happen like 4 or 5 years ago under Hillary's leadership.

Republicans and Democrats have a lot more in common than differences, hence the continuity.   You do not need to be a Republican to be a War President.

It is complicated, you have to connect lots of dots to come up with something that makes sense to you.  But as you said it is about learning and it is fun.  As fun as it is, we must admit that politics impact our everyday life. No matter where you live. 

Anyways, yes it is fun, it is not as black & white of a Headline News, it is very complicated. Once you dig in though, it becomes fascinating. Like this, I really have a problem with this, not that it gets to me, Something is definitely wrong with this picture:
