Comments: I agree Saeed. You do need a kick ass style leader to do that.
Comments: With regard to Iran- US deal: People who think, IRI will be stronger with the direct talk, are either total nut cases, or has agenda. What direct talk means is Lybia style agreement, meaning you agree to disarm yourself without any fight. Nobody knows exactly, what IRI will get in return. In reality, it is not going to much. At max, sanction relief for part of oil. But is this enough to change Iran fortune? It seems, Iran will not be allowed to direct more resources to outside Iran. Hezbollah in Lebanon has basically been stripped of all of their existence. Most likely, they will be allowed to work as bouncers in night clubs in Beyrot. Even in Iraq, same faith is going to happen to pro IRI terrorist groups. So, what did happen to Ghazafi at the end of the agreement? Could he survive after handing out his arsenal? Same is going to happen to Ali Gedaa and his puppets. Reza Pahlavi has enough support in Iran these days, much more than outside Iran. But I have one concern, over his return to power. Iran needs a character like his grand father to save it from the current mess. He seems too nice to make that to happen.

Comments: Reza Pahlavi: U.S. has a third path on Iran aside from diplomacy, military strikesThe son of the former shah argued that with sufficient U.S. support, the Iranian people can overthrow the theocratic regime in Tehran “All I’m asking is give the Iranian people a chance to put an end to all of these concerns,” Pahlavi said. “And if we fail, you always have those options. But jumping straight from ‘diplomacy is not working’ [to] ‘let’s go bomb the hell out of them’ — once again, you’re throwing the people of Iran under the bus which will only add insult to injury.” “I think that the Iranians have understood that the more they are in numbers, they reach that critical number where change can really happen,” Pahlavi continued. “We are getting pretty close to that number.”
Comments: Interesting about Israeli and Syrian Kurds partnership. WASHINGTON — Israeli government officials have intensified calls to protect Syria’s Kurds as they face armed groups backed by Turkey following the sudden collapse of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime. Now, an operation led by Turkish-backed factions is aimed at dislodging Kurdish forces from parts of Aleppo province, including the town of Manbij. The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, or SDF, have been a major U.S. partner in the fight against the Islamic State terror group. The partnership led to the liberation of most territory once controlled by Islamic State in Syria. Salih Muslim, a senior Kurdish politician with the Democratic Union Party, the de facto ruling party in northeast Syria, welcomed the recent statements by Israeli officials expressing support for the Kurds, describing the position as a positive and encouraging step. “Undoubtedly, any force that defends our rights is welcomed,” he said in an interview posted Tuesday on X by a London-based journalist. “Israel’s stance is correct; they have seen our actions and understand that we have never denied the existence of the Jewish people in the Middle East. It is encouraging to see those who recognize our pain and suffering. ... Beyond verbal support, we await practical measures,” Muslim said.

Comments: 😊 Any objection then when "Deporter In Chief" was in charge? Or did not make it to headline news? April 5, 2014,--WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Protesters marched to the White House Saturday with signs labeling President Barack Obama “Deporter In Chief” to pressure him to curb deportations of immigrants. The protesters walked for about an hour from a park in the district’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood to a park flanking the White House. It was one of several marches staged Saturday by groups hoping to force the president to use his powers to halt deportations of non-criminal immigrants. “We want reform for our children, that they don’t deport them, that they stay with us or they stay here and they don’t deport their parents,” said Ceros, who is originally from Honduras. “Twenty-seven years of living in the shadows. They are about to reach retirement. They pay taxes. They abide by the law. They deserve papers,” Huaman said. Her message to Obama is to “stop making promises and do something," she said.
Comments: DOGE? The Trump administration is planning a June 14 military parade through the streets of Washington, D.C., to mark the president’s 79th birthday.
Comments: Not my words Kamkar . From H. hallak In LA 10000 plus showed up, in Orange County 2000 or more in front of City hall at Orange. And most suburbs few hundred gathered at their Main Streets. The largest ones Long Beach , Sierra Madre and Lakewood. And to balance their news reporting, one of the local channels showed a clip of about 10 people at thousands oaks staging a pro Trump gathering with a monster truck parading the streets with the image of his holiness painted on the truck.
Comments: Well said Cyruss. I joined the rally of only hundreds in my small town. Majority Mexican American demographic area many of which had voted for Trump. Quite a few of them with buyers remorse and harsh words for the koskhol.
Comments: From pages of H. Hallak They were wrong. On April 5th, America rose like thunder. Millions poured into the streets from coast to coast, a tide of fury and defiance that shattered the illusion of a passive nation. For months, they spread lies, claiming the resistance was over, and the American spirit had finally collapsed under Trump’s relentless assault on democracy. Politicians and corporations quietly surrendered, believing the masses were too exhausted, too overwhelmed, too hopeless to fight back. They were WRONG! Over 220,000 people flooded Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. More than one million filled the streets of Washington, D.C. Portland, Oregon alone saw 30,000 protestors downtown, with countless more rallies across the suburbs and towns of every red state, from Indiana to West Virginia, Montana to North Carolina. The myth that opposition had vanished was annihilated in a single, monumental day. It was a cry of raw, visceral fear turned into action. Protestors carried signs that captured the overwhelming dread inflicted by Trump’s regime: “Hands off Social Security.” “Hands off women.” “Hands off immigrants.” “Hands off unions.” “Hands off our libraries.” The chaos unleashed by Trump and Musk is intentional, systematic cruelty aimed at dismantling modern life. This isn’t just about policy disagreements, this is about democracy itself. We thought Trump’s first chaotic term was as bad as it could get. Now, America sees the monstrous clarity of Trump 2.0, more disciplined, more ruthless, more deadly. From attacks on public libraries to gutting Social Security, from stripping unions of their bargaining power to targeting immigrants with state-sponsored cruelty, the regime’s objective is no longer hidden. It is clear, methodical oppression designed to silence dissent, erase compassion, and crush resistance forever. But on April 5th, millions of Americans declared with one voice: Enough. Resistance is no longer a slogan, it is a reality that spreads through every town and city, every state and suburb. Those who thought they could quietly submit to Trump’s tyranny and profit from our silence now confront a thunderous, unyielding truth: We are awake. We are enraged. And we are everywhere. Now is the time to join this wave of resistance. History demands courage from you today. The regime thrives on your silence, your despair, your resignation. Deny them that victory. Step forward, join the march, raise your voice, and refuse to let democracy die in darkness. The resistance isn’t coming, it’s already here. You Can Stop Asking Where the Mass Opposition Is. It’s Everywhere. |
