Germany was partitioned 80 years ago and then unified 40 years later. Soviet UK and USA were allies 80 years ago against Germany but then U.K. USA and Germany became allied against Soviet / Russia after WWII. We dropped atomic bombs on Japan killing 140,000 in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki. A country named Japan which attacked the USA and prompted USA to enter the war. Number one enemy of the United States 85 years ago and now one of the closest allies of the United States. The world will keep evolving.
