“You would be shocked, Piers, at some of the names that I have seen that came across the DOJ in emails that the DOJ is protecting,” she said.

“And we’re talking about people on both sides of the aisle. We’re talking about famous people, rich people, people in power, prime ministers, former prime ministers, former presidents, etc., media personalities that are named in these files."

“That’s why I say this is going to go down as one of the greatest cover-ups in American history,” she said, adding that she doubted justice would ever surface.

“This kind of thing cannot continue to go on."

“You’d be surprised, shocked even at some of the names in the files,” she said moments later.

“After today’s review of the Epstein files at the DOJ, I have a list of names I will be requesting the House Oversight Committee invite to testify and, if necessary, subpoena. I have questions,” Mace posted on X.

“The days of cover-up are over. We're PULLING back the curtain. We will learn who knew, who participated, and who covered up Jeffrey Epstein's crimes,” she added in a later post.

She posted on X that despite being labeled as unredacted, “many documents are STILL redacted. Co-conspirators. Internal DOJ memos. Decades of information - hidden. Not on my watch.”

FIFA Have Set Precedent For Replacing Iran at World Cup Amid Rising US Tensions

FIFA have set a precedent for replacing Iran at the World Cup amid rising political tensions with the United States.

Iran became the first nation to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

In December's draw, they were placed in a group with Belgium, Egypt and Iran.

It remains to be seen how future developments could affect Iran's participation at the FIFA World Cup this summer.

But should Iran withdraw or be unable to participate in the tournament, FIFA's regulations state that the team is replaced 'with a nominated alternate, often the direct runner-up from the relevant qualifying playoff or highest-ranked non-qualified team from that confederation'.

In that case, there would be appear to be two potential solutions for FIFA.

The United Arab Emirates are the nation that both finished as the highest non-qualifier behind Iran in their Asian group, and lost the confederation play-off to Iraq.

Another solution could be to replace Iran with Iraq in the World Cup, and for the UAE to take Iraq's place in the inter-confederation play-offs due to take place in March.

The second part of FIFA's regulations on the matter states: "If replacement is impractical (timing, visas, travel), award the group slot to a replacement team but keep schedule; or in exceptional cases adjust group arrangements."
