Comments: Kamkar: Lying is not uncommon in Politics. For example, if you are looking for dictionary on lying, please refer to Trump biography. In politics, everybody is after their own interest. You just have to pick the one that serve the interest of your people. Kurds in Iraq did a good job on picking a side in Iraq war, and people are benefiting from it now. Shia picked a wrong side, and they are now paying for it and they have not seen the end of it yet.

Comments: Ditto Saeed. But to do all that in Iraq they lied quite a bit. WMD was only an excuse. The fact was that they were looking for their own interest. Operation Iraqi Liberation (OIL) was just that. I mean do they really care about dictators here and there? It's like one politician said something about their own stooge. He said yes he's a SOB dictator but he is our SOB.
Comments: Ali P: I have problem with these commonly used term: Neocon and Zionist. For example do you think Trump is less zionist than Biden? Hell no, based on his records. What is Neocons? Is that an idology or just a brand name used by a group of lefties in US? If you are talking about Iraq war, US did not gain much from Iraq war. But the intention was to remove a known dictator, which it did. It provided a platform for free election in Iraq. One group in particular (Kurds) benefited from it greatly, since they were and are oppressed everywhere, and now they are thriving. Shia were given a chance to rule the country, but instead of taking advantage, they fell into IRI trap. They are now paying for it and will pay much more in near future. And how fitting is the name "Axes of evils" to IRI. Nothing could have been said better.
